They most likely are, there’s still some stuff they’ve been tweaking even before the game releases. Plus, if I recall, the character select screen isn’t final. There’s no reason for these to be made without being used for something.

@@qwerttzizzi Music in the video playing is from budokai tenkaichi 2. Before sparking zero releases you should most definitely play dbz budokai tenkaichi 1,2,3 and dbz budokai 1,2,3. They are so worth it. Budokai games also got some incredible soundtracks and dbz bt3 got some incredible tracks.

It would be nice if they did it sorta bt3 style with selecting a character and then being able to see all their forms, but beside that I think the screen is fine. I love how you select your map first and then select the characters and it smoothly transitions into the game!

@@Roqeau Nah fr. There’s valid criticisms to be had with the game (as it’s being presented to us anyway, most of the stuff people complain about has been fixed), but…Kid Goku having an undershirt? The characters…posing in a fighting stance? I think a majority of the time when people talk trash about the game just have barely anything interesting to say because the game looks amazing, so they start nitpicking.

Yeah they're mainly showing the base roster with the renders. Goku Mini, Gamma 1 and Gamma 2 are confirmed to be DLC and don't have these kind of renders yet for them. I'm not sure when the Gammas release, but they'll be the first DLC characters besides Goku Mini.

Super Trunks only transforms into his Rage form and Vegueta has a technique that makes him go to SSB Evolved

Trunks was Super Saiyan 1 when he used Sword of Hope and SSBE Vegeta is a skill buff for SSB Vegeta that lasts some time. It's unfortunate that we didn't get SS2 Trunks and that SSBE Vegeta is a skill that only lasts a certain time.

@@BeamClaws Technically they aren't. They just added a bit of the aura glow of Rage into SSJ Trunks. But the eyes are wrong, missing muscle mass, hair is too short. And on top of not porperly adding Rage form, they dont add SSJ2. And Vegeta SSBE form being turned into a technique has too many disadvantages. He is in the box art, yet you cant pick him as a character right off the bat for matches or custom battles. It also made it so Blue Vegeta gets less moves and SSBE is lacking some. Since they gave 1 move from Evolved to blue and they didnt add evolved ones cause they dont fit.

I have a theory that they’re attempting to make an amalgamation of Kid Goku (pre-King Piccolo) with Teen Goku (from the 23rd Budokai), since Goku’s undershirt in his model is black. I guess their aim is to make less of a “Kid Goku” and more of a “Goku (Very Early).

I'm not going to lie, but rooster is actually meh. Not to mention game mechanics are not great either. I was expecting more out of this game. It's literally Budokai Tenkaichi 3, but with different graphics. They could have added better mechanics for transformations, rooster could be lower in size if they merged transformations rather than have 5 different Gokus.

It has a long list of inconsistencies, inaccurate character models (but to the point its obvious and absurd), character transformations getting butchered, and so on. If you don't care for the game getting better, its fine, but you don't get to complain about the people trying to improve it, and specially the people that are paying for it. The devs didn't make this game out of the goodness of their heart. They are getting paid and are about to cash in so much money from sales. The least they can do is not give us a mediocre product.
