I love how some devs were not restricted to just 2d games but were adventurous enough to make the game they envisioned it’s insane for the gba that driver 3 and asterix and obelix xxl run and look at that good on a small handheld system - driver 3 could have been a 2d sidescoller that probably wouldn’t be very similar to the console versions but the fact the dev made it an open world driving and on foot game is beyond incredible and really pushed the gba to its limit

Super Blocky Mode is actually super important in the later stages where the amount of level geometry really starts to bog down the GBA hardware. Having the lower resolution helps things stay at a solid 20 FPS vs the 5ish FPS they'd run at other wise.

It makes the final stages nearly impossible. The Jimmy Neutron game has _one_ thing alone that I liked about it when I was little. The competitive multiplayer "asteroids" game, which could be played across multiple linked consoles with one copy of the game. It's actually kind of fun, even has a weapon upgrade system.

@@GameDreamery I'll try to keep it in mind and tell you about more if I come up with any. For now, I'd suggest looking into other Spyro games (I know there are more than the two I mentioned on GBA, but I don't know if they're all isometric since I haven't played the others). I might also suggest looking into RPG type games, since some are done in an isometric style (the Boktai series comes to mind, but I don't know if you'd count that). Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga doesn't have that angled look, but it does have jumping, and platforms with varying heights in the maps. About Crazy Chase, it's basically a port of an SNES game, with more levels added. I don't know what type of game you'd call it. (Maybe some kind of platformer?) But it might fit your criteria. Got those covered in the shooters video (dropping tomorrow), and the sports video. I ended up throwing the fighting games into the sports video since there are only like 4 3D fighting games on the GBA. Thanks for the list!

@@buenogoodlive good call!! I'll add them to the list of Missing Games and make another video once the series is complete with all the games people recommended. I appreciate that!

@GameDreamery but you couldn't call the driver series a racing game 😂

@@DuckRotation yeah, that was a coin flip. I figured since there are on-foot sections they should be in Action. But that's just my rational, they're totally racing games too.

Home on the Range (the movie) wasn't as bad as people say, and it has a fun, different kind of villain song which I appreciated. Just a shame two of the major cast members turned out to be bigots.

You said Spider-Man 2 "feels like 10 FPS", but analyzing your own footage we can see it's actually 7-8 FPS. And they all tear in the middle while rendering. Truly abysmal stuff, unfortunately.

@@voltcorp nicely done! Glad my eyeballing it was close haha. Yeah, it's awful unfortunately because the concept is cool!
