There's a problem with calling the Ravens a newer team. It's actually the Cleveland browns that are a newer team. The Baltimore Ravens are the results of the Cleveland browns moving to Baltimore and becoming the Ravens in 1996 so actually the Cleveland browns are now a team that began in 1999. Just for some reason for the sake of confusion they decide to count the old Cleveland browns history to the new Cleveland browns history even though the Baltimore Ravens are the result of the old Cleveland browns moving to Baltimore which would mean that the Baltimore Ravens should have the old Cleveland browns history. Honestly if Cleveland really needed to have a team back I just wish they would have picked a different name so none of this confusion would happen

I honestly think 2016 Brady was the most dangerous he's ever been. He more to prove than he did since he was a young player, only in 2016 he had a far better skill set and experience. He was incredible in his 12 regular season games and found a way to win in the playoffs even if he didn't have the best games overall. I mean, the Pats D deserves insane credit for shutting out the explosive offense of the Falcons in the last 20 minutes of the game, but that entire team played with incredible poise, led by a Brady who was unphased by the score and played almost perfectly beside a few throws, most notably the one Edelman caught that should've been picked off by Alford. I don't think 2004 Brady would be able to compete physically or mentally at near the level of 2016 Brady, and with the supporting casts pretty equal, having an above average supporting offense and a top 10 defense, I can't see 04 Brady beating out his older self.

Hell, I remember there being 0-16 speculation prior to that win. I attribute the 2013 team’s struggles to the sudden uptick in the strength of schedule, and the fact that the team was weaker than their record would suggest the previous season. On average, they surprisingly outgained their opponents in terms of yardage. The primary issue was that their quarterbacks were turnover machines that season.

As a lifetime Broncos fan, I guess you are ignoring their back-to-back 2-11-1 seasons in the old AFL. They were so wretchedly inept back in the early 60s and the franchise almost left around 66-67 (not exactly sure, i was still in elementary school).. When the strike year came and they only lost 7 we didn't really feel all that bad. You were exactly right picking Elway's last season as the highlight though. Pretty easy choice

As a lifetime Packers fan the video got it wrong. The 1929 packers were 12-0-1 and the 1962 packers were 13-1 (with 10 hall of famers on it) Both better than the 1996 packers. The 1958 packers were 1-10-1 a miserable bunch that fired their coach and hired some guy named Lombardi at then end of the season. They also didn't didn't cover the Lions and Browns that won championships in the 1950's. I think the video needs to be renamed - Best and worst teams IN THE SUPER BOWL ERA.

It says something about the Ravens being (at the time of this post) the most stable franchise in the NFL when your worst season according to this list is 5-11 (you can make a case with their 1996 season because they were 4-12, but Ravens along Packers in the SB era are so far the only teams whose worst record hasn't gone below 0.250).
@PotentialUnleashed.252 жыл бұрын
That’s what I was thinking. 5-11 on your worst day? Nice😂
@anthonypuccini19142 жыл бұрын
True, but the Ravens have a couple of advantages that helped them. One is that they haven't been around long enough to eventually go through a "dark age" like most of these other teams. The other one is that they had the benefit of not having to start their roster over from scratch in their inaugural season. They just relocated the Browns and already had a team of professionals put together. Still impressive though that your "worst season" was 5-11.

@@anthonypuccini1914 If you ask Ravens fans, the "dark era" was during that mid-2000s era before Joe Flacco got here. We had revolving door at QB and zero offense besides. Jamal Lewis, after a historic season, just went bust and we couldn't get it together. On top of that the defense had a lot of retirements and only the core stayed strong, but it was that defensive core that held them to that mid-single-digits wins.

I definitely concur that the 2004 Pats were the best of the 6 championship teams. Dillon pretty much ensured that if the Pats had the ball in the 4th quarter with any sort of lead, they were going to win. The ball control that team practiced helped the defense out so much. That is what they were missing during Brady’s most prolific years. They had good defenses in at least some of those years, but they used to score so fast, and the defense had nothing left by the end of the game.

I would like to make a few suggestions: *The 2010 Broncos were absolutely worse (4-12); 1982 shouldn’t count since almost half of the season wasn’t even played. *The 2008 Chiefs went 2-14 that season as well; for the record the Chiefs seasons between went 4-12 in 2007 & 2009 whereas the 2011 Chiefs went 7-9 and the 2013 Chiefs went 11-5. *The 1984 & 1985 Bills were 2-14 in both seasons. *The 2011 Vikings also went 3-13. *The 2018 Cardinals also went 3-13. *The Packers in 1988, 1991 & 2005 went 4-12 in those seasons as well. *The 1994 & 2019 teams in Washington also went 3-13; by the way the 2019 team actually had a worse point differential. Fitting for that would be the last season they would be referred to as the Redskins. *The Texans in 2005 were also 2-14 and had a worse point differential as well.

Some of my (unprompted) opinions on your points: 2010 Broncos were bad and I agree they should've been selected over the strike squad. I understand the 2008 Chiefs were garbage along with those other years, but my goodness that 2012 squad was TERRIBLE. I have no problem with them being selected. Vikings did end up making the playoffs in 2012, plus they had Adrian Peterson. Packers had a lot of bad years to choose from. The Texans were awful in 2005, but 2013 will always be infamous due to them losing 14 straight games after two consecutive playoff appearances. They had a bevy of talent whereas in 2005 they only had a couple pieces such as Andre Johnson.
