In case it helps someone, here's what I gathered from researching: You can only get 1-cost and 3-cost echoes from this event, so that limits choices by a lot. The stats are also guaranteed, it'll be ATK% + HP for 1-cost echos, and ATK% + ATK for 3-cost echoes. The echoes that you're gonna pick are also HEAVILY dependent on the characters that you want to use. Here are some recommendations from a CBT2 player (credits to gibbb): - havoc (danjin): tambourinist or havoc dreadmane - aero (jianxin/jiyan): cyan heron/carapace - fire (chixia/encore): violet heron or havoc dreadmane or vidiblaze - spectra (rover): rock steady guardian/cyan heron - lightning (yinlin/calcharo): violet heron or flautist - ice (sanhua): autopuppet I'm personally going for the violet feathered heron because: - I'm prioritizing calcharo and yinlin, so if I get a violet heron with a lightning sonata effect it'll be pog. - The skill is a parry and it's really badass (reminds me of beidou skill from genshin). - Herons are very rare, you only get a limited amount of them on your world per day so getting one early is great. Lastly if you don't care about minmaxing for a specific element and just want a great early game echo, then the cyan heron is a safe pick. It has a skill that's very helpful for exploring and is rare, you can't go wrong with it. Cheers!

About the Phantom Echoes, do they come in the form of a reward for completing event quests or does this type of echo drop while farming as long as the event lasts? What about the phantom echoes rarity, is it the same as shiny echoes or just a diffrent variant of the original one?

They’ve changed it from CBT2, which is where I had my experience from. With global release, phantom echoes will now become skins for that echo type. They were never a unique rarity or had special stats, they were only cosmetic. In CBT2, if your phantom echoes had trash main/sub stat, you wouldn’t use it so it was a waste of time getting it. That’s what they’ve tried to fix with this change

You can freely collect them around your world, not sure about co-op worlds. Although you are limited to the number of enemies available on the map, you will have to wait for them to respawn. There are also domains called Tacet Fields where you can spend ‘resin’ (waveplate) to collect echoes

I am pretty sure after you farm all the echos in your own world and are waiting for the daily timer to reset, you can join in co-op to farm a friend's echos as well. When you kill an enemy and get an echo, theres a chance for an echo to drop for the friend as well. (even if they did not fight)
