speaking from my recent matches, Chatot is INSANE, both in the early and endgame. Being able to redraw 3-4 cards for the cost of 1 energy is great for if you're running evolutions, since you have more chances to get your evos. It's very fun on the new Celebi EX decks. side note: I think it's understandable that Mew doesn't have an Immersive Rare in this set since we already have a Mew Immersive Rare with the Gen 1 Pokedex challenge.

budding expeditioner is a great card imo. you use it to save you from death. depending if you have a full bench with 2 gards set up you can bring mew back to full life with full energy. as well as using it to tank hits with mew to set up your board

I built a Serperior, Celebi and new Exeggutor deck before I even understood how broken Serperior's ability was going to be with Celebi EX. I am SO excited because I love Grass Pokemon and Serperior is one of my favorite starters. With that said, I think Gyarados EX with the new Vaporeon is going to be super strong as well! These decks are so fun so far!

I have played it it’s a lot of fun and snowballs quickly though it is coin flip dependant especially if you don’t get the serperior but if you do I once had an 8/10 heads for 400 damage and it felt great it’s a blast to play

For the mythical slab, sine It doesn t shuffle the deck Is actually and Amazing card no matter what, cause of you don t draw a Pokémon with the effect, It still fixes the next turn draw, increasing the probability of you next draw to be a Pokémon, Is really broken

Salandit and salazzle could be played more often, if they swap there attack for instance salandit poison's the foe then next turn you can evolve it, to salazzle then use venoschock for extra damage

Mew Immersive is given after collecting the base 150 cards in Genetic Apex. I don’t think they wanted to double up on immersive for each Mon. *edited because I mixed up the secret achievements for base 150 vs 226 cards.

So: 1. The new Exeggutor has more damage than alakazam agaisnt 1 energy, same with 2, and less than 3 foward. 2. I think i will only replace one of the og rapidash with the new one. The thing with og is the one energy cost attack, putting quick pressure on the opponent. But the new one can nuke. But i will replace the og ponytas with the new ones. The only blaine pokemon i dont like is the magmar... I will keep my Farfetch as an honorary fire duck 3. The new weezing deals the same amount of damage for one extra energy as the og weezing (with poisoned op)... But it can wall for longer... I dont see it replacing the og in deck without dark energy, but it will replace for sure in deck that have it.

This set is cool. 30 packs opened and I got 4 normal ex (1 Mew at least), 7 full arts and 2 immersive art Celebis. Need 10 more cards to complete the regular set. I think I'll just use the free daily packs from now on. Edit: Couldn't resist another ten packs to open. 2nd Celebi ex, got Aerodactyl ex and a crown rare Mew ex. Holy shit, I am definitely done with spending hourglasses here. Only need 4 more cards for completion and they are all 2-3 diamond rares.

mythical slab is like almost a worse poke ball except it can grab non-basics. Idk if it is worth running in Mewtwo. Pokeball already grabs mewtwo. If anything it's just a jar of greed (from yugioh) type card to draw through your deck faster, except it could miss and draw you nothing. So basically it does make the deck more consistent in drawing your pieces but you're sacrificing answers to other decks.

You must not have much experience with trading card games because that card is absolutely busted. It basically means you get to play a Psychic deck with 18 cards instead of 20, which makes it far more consistent for you to get the Psychic pokemon you are trying to draw. Even if it misses, it puts the card you didn't need on the bottom so you have a better chance with the next Mythical Slab or next card draw. Its much better to have in a deck than Potions.
