Basically if you have 2 grass energy on your Celebi EX and you use that ability you basically have 4 grass energy on your Celebi for that turn letting you flip 4 coins instead of only 2. im not really into the meta so i try things out myself and when i pulled the animated celibi card as my first special card i instantly build a deck around it with other cards i pulled from this set (serperior and butterfree).. and i "accidently" created a meta deck.. i felt like i found the cheatcode xD seriously it is super dope to play! if i had this deck during the event i easily wouldve pulled off the 5 wins in a row

celebi itself is already op, it just snipes everything but it doesnt require any setup like most heavy hitters, it is even harder to kill quickly than Pikachu ex

The Serperior card makes each energy act like 2 This effect stacks well with Celebi EX For example if you have 2 energy on Celebi you would flip 4 coins for damage instead of 2

Me reading it for the first time, i thought coz it said it cant stack, that it was only 1 energy was gonna be treated as 2. So say 3 energy is on the pokemon, it’d treat it as 4. But nah the stacking prevention if you cant benefit off of 2 serperior. So i was like omfg this is busted. Proceeded to go 9-3 with the celebi deck in random pvp.

Its like pseudo-energy acceleration like moltres and misty but arguably better with the consistent +2 per turn. My friend is using celebi and serperior and gets 6 coinflips for fifty damage each for just 3 energy on celebi

It doesn’t stack you only get the effect for 1 energy for each pokemon so if your pokemon has 2 grass energy it only gets the effect once making it have 3 grass energy so still need 3 energy not 2

Bro hear me out.. I just play solo expert battle against celebi ex with serperior.. The celebi at one point got 4 energy, then they got serperior evolved next turn.. And guess what? When serperior activated the ability, the celebi flip coins 8 times.. Fukin 8 times!! That's 400 dmg with one shoot ffs 😂 Mark my words, serperior will be that one broken meta until january when new big packs update

I optimised the pure articuno ex deck, added 2 eevee 2 vaporeon (or in a way u can say i simply sacked the staryu line for em). Early game u use eevee for poke dmg (to allow blizzard to ohko >100hp mons if eevee gets minimum 1 head). Then mid game you evolve into vaporeon (so you don’t die to early game poke dmg), retreat out to articuno (perferably with leaf or x spd) and start setting off blizzards. It was rly fun. If you get unlucky with the misty, you trade that 1 energy u slapped on eevee early game to articuno. But you have to evolve it to vaporeon, cant have 1 vaporeon, 1 eevee and transfer the eevee energy coz its not water.

I got to open 3 packs. Not 3 ten packs, just 3 single little packs. The ONLY card i got that was even half decent is the 2 star art of gyarados. I just wanted the vaporeon and its 1 star art! Im very sad rn because even though its my only card above 1 star, it was not at all what i wanted. (I proceded to dream about pulling a dud on the genetic apex pack by accident, it was painful.
