I actually transferred my regional variant pokemon from home to the base game. Of course, they're the ones with the normal pokemon already in the game, like dugtrio, raichu, muk, etc. Once the Teal Mask comes out, whatever old pokemon comes back, if it has a regional variant, it'll likely come with it.

Yep, exactly! I also want to slightly point out that in Scarlet & Violet you can already get Quagsire (mentioned at 3:40) from an NPC, they give you a blue Wooper that you can evolve, and you can have it lay eggs that result in the regional variant if they hold an Everstone. You can also get a Sneasler 4:40 by transferring it from Pokémon Home, same breeding method. The video is great though, just my two cents since he mentioned he wouldn't include Pokémon can are already available or transferrable in some way! :)

@@hux0rd That's an excellent question, actually, I don't know! I have received two Hisuian Qwilfish but no Overqwil so far, so I'm not sure if it would evolve correctly in Paldea. I've also received an Hisuian Sliggoo that I haven't tried to evolve into Goodra, but any attempt at breeding it resulted in a Paldean Goomy. A quick Google search however revealed that you can't evolve Hisuian Qwilfish in the Paldea region, so I'm not sure if Overqwil can be transferred or not... probably yes through Pokémon Home, but I haven't seen one myself.

@@tuononnovainbici It can't evolve in Paldea. But you can breed H.Qwilfish in Paldea, transfer it into LA via home, evolve it, transfer it back, and the H.Overqwil is still yours. H.Overqwil is also a very decent raid pokemon since it's both poison and dark.

It’s cool how White Striped Basculin and Basculegion are shown in the Pokédex as that means that they somehow they have managed to survive into the modern day and aren’t extinct after all, rather they managed to possibly migrate from their former home of Hisui (now Sinnoh) to Kitakami. As for Bloodmoon Ursaluna well I am not so sure if it’s indeed true that we can only catch one. Which if true would potentially make it the only one that managed to survive into the modern day.

You can already transfer over Aloan Riachu, ursaluna, the other hisui variants, and teddyursa and ursaring are in the base game from the start. the others need to transfer from home.

I think some regional forms will be saved for Indigo disc. For example, we have a regular Geodude line here. But the Blueberry part of the trailer showed Alolan Geodude. Alolan Sandshrew is present there too. Likewise with Tauros. Only Kantonian Tauros can be found there. And yes, Leavanny & Swanna's line are among those stuck in HOME (joining the non-Hisui Gen 2 & 5 starters, the elemental monkeys, Furfrous, Toucannon, etc), only available via GO or pre-Switch games.

Man, Kommo-o having access to Tera could be SUPER scary in VGC. Put it next to Amoongus or Maushold to protect it, Tera to something like Steel or Water to shed that bad typing, then unleash Clangorous Soul and go nuts. 168 speed EVs at +1 with neutral nature puts you beyond Chien-Pao's Haze, so pretty much nothing can reset those boosts easily. I don't see it being amazing, but if it can get set up it'll be very hard to deal with.

I think that Bloodmoon Ursaluna is a Paradox Pokemon, that is why you can't the whole Urasulna line. Maybe GF/Nintendo/TPC decided to make a universal Paradox Pokemon instead of making it a version exclusive. That's only my two cents of course. Awesome vid once again dude.

Yeah...But at least it ain't like the Isle of Armor, which had Kubfu and Urshifu (both forms), Galarian Slowpoke and Slowbro (both regional forms) and Zarude (by technicality). Which is to say, two new Pokémon and two new forms that're easily accessible. While in this DLC, there're seven new Pokémon and one new form. It's much more than you'd normally expect.

Yeah, mid-generation Pokémon is still a pretty new thing in general, unless you consider Mythicals as mid-gen, but they’re usually discovered or revealed pretty early on, if not immediately. A lot of sources did confirm that it’s in fact a new form of ursaluna. My guess is ursaring evolves by teaching it that new move which is accessible in part 2. That’s why you can’t evolve it in part 1. Cause Ursaluna does get two new moves. One or both of them could later be taught to ursaring via a move tutor that’s in part 2. However you could face blood moon ursaluna and catch it in part 1 via story who knows.

Bloodmoon ursaluna sounds like a paradox form, like since ursaluna itself is from ancient hisui, maybe bloodmoon is the "present" paradox instead of past or future

But Teddiursa and Ursaluna wouldn't need to be in the DLC because they're very prominently in the base game? And Ursaluna was from home.. So how would we derive that you can't evolve it? I would think you could ONLY evolve into blood moon Ursaluna unless you have PLA

Question why would Teddiursa and Ursaring be in the Teal Mask dex when they are already in the base SV dex,since blood moon Ursaluna is a new Mon that’s why it’s in the dex and not the other 2

Blood Moon Ursaluna isn't part Ghost type at all. It's speculated to be either Normal/Ground or Normal/Steel.

@@deleted8490 Yes, obviously? But Pokémon is a weird franchise. They'd've found a way to categorize it as a Ghost type anyways. But the main point is, it's not dead, it never was. It just lived for a long time and became the way it is now.

Could blood moon ursaluna be introduced as a paradox pokemon? That would explain why it doesn’t evolve and the line isn’t included. PLA was supposedly set in the past. There’s a lot wrong with my theory but idk maybe it could be.
