Today, I go through how I care for my new anthurium seedling plant. Seedlings are different from mature plants as they are essentially just baby plants that are more susceptible to light, humidity and watering conditions. It is important to follow these tips and tricks on how to care for anthurium seedlings to ensure your plant grows to be a big beautiful mature anthurium! Mine is currently rooting away nicely in leca semi hydro and I can't wait for a new leaf to grow in my care. Hope you enjoy!

Super helpful! I just got a Clarinervium seedling with two leaves, each no bigger than a fingernail! I did not realize it was quite so tiny, but I'm so excited to watch it grow. Great tips, thank you!

Wonderful! that sounds super tiny so maybe keep it in a prop box until it's a bit bigger. i've never had a seedling with leaves the size of my fingernail!

Hey Lauren just wondering I just got a red crystallinum seedling from NSE Tropicals about the same size yours were. How's yours looking now?!

@@shawnp6328 it’s great!! It has continually put out leaves, each one getting nearly double the size of the previous and with more veining each time. The tiny leaves have withered, so there are currently only four leaves. But they are substantial and the newest leaf has very clear and detailed veining-it truly looks like a Clarinervium now! The leaf is about 3 inches tall! I did add some moss around the base of the stems and try to keep it moist, as I’ve seen others do so to their anthuriums. It was crazy how much bigger the leaves got each time. Enjoy!!!

Wow, sounds like you were very lucky it's still alive after its trip. Definitely should have had more roots before selling something, especially for travel. Seems like you've cared for it really well!! Thanks for all the info :)

I have one and the biggest leaf is starting to turn yellow. What do I do?

So I have had 2 seedlings I mean tiny tiny about the size of when they put out their 1st leaf or 2. Teeny. I've had them about a year and I het new leaves and the old ones dies off. It hasn't really grown at all but it's alive. I have 1 dark crystal and the other is I believe a gracile. I've tried everything to get them to grow and nothing seems to help them. I try not to move them much bc I don't want to shock them but I'm at a loss 😔 and can't figure it out

help! I have a baby king anthurium that came in the mail super stressed from the travels and cold :( Its now in partial shade with plenty of humidity and warmth but many of the leaves have wilted and the stems have become thin. how can I make sure the lil guy bounces back?

i think you just have to be patient. not all plants bounce back from stress which is why I don't normally purchase plants in the winter time due to the cold (even with a heat pack). you seem to be doing all the right things though...maybe up the light a bit too though!
