there is no separate branch called robotics in any reputed college of india, also specialization in Robotics is not very lucrative as there are lesser institutes which actually have a good robotics department. So do some research before joining any "COOL SOUNDING" course.

avg. starting core civil salary after top iits, nits is 60k- 1.5 lakhs/m. for mid lvl nits, iits it's 40k-60k , some also gets 1L+. plus lot of govt.job opportunities. but not much placements in lower tier colleges. at 90% of clgs very few people study core branches deeply they just opt for it jobs with much higher salary. it's very common for an experienced civil executive engineer/ architect/ manager/ site engineer etc (involved in any construction industry)to earn atleast 6-7 lakhs/m.
