Melly, many years ago, maybe 40 or sew, I was visiting my Mom and we started speaking about clothes. She mentioned circle skirts. I honestly didn’t know what one was. Mom said it’s a circle..I giggled. She went to the attic and started digging. She found her “swing coat” which made a great maternity winter coat and a circle skirt. When I saw this video, it brought back happy memories and some 😭

My girls need to double wide for folklórico dance. I have been wanting to make as one as skirts for 8 years now but it seams so confusing. This is the first video I had seen that is explaining. But I think I just overthink and make things difficult to comprehend. Lol. Thanks for sharing.

It's not as hard as it can seem! Maybe try making a doll sized skirt to understand the concept without using a lot of fabric.
