I was asking if clean and dry tea leaves could be added to the soil . lncidentally, l never add milk or sugar to tea leaves. l make my Darjeeling tea by seeping the tea leaves in water and waiting for them to sink down, before l strain them. Milk is then added to the liquor tea in the tea cup, as needed.

For healthy & long lasting croton plant eight hrs of light is good , in the month of May & June avoid harsh afternoon sunlight .you can keep them indoors only got the day or two , after that first keep them outside in a shady area for a day then settle them as g their original place .Crotons are hard core sunny plants

My house is south facing, on 22nd June I plant three crotons using neem khali vermicompost and garden soilcan I place them under shade south facing where light is for 8 hours but not direct sunlight or can I place them under my Arica plant shade on the east side wall of my house. What fertiliser I’ll use now . I have NPK 19;19:19 and Seaweed liquid , Do I need spray neem oil once in 25 days Thanks

South & west is best direction for crotons . Crotons are sun loving plants and require full sun in winters too . East is also good in summers but not in winters , 6-8 hrs of sun is required for crotons especially during winters. If you are growing them in containers then no problem , it’s an easy job to change there place according to season but if you want to grow them In land then south and west is best . NPK 19-19-19 and any micronutrient/ sea weed is good for crotons . Use neem oil if there is sign of any kind of pest infestation in your plants but never plant hibiscus near croton. Because hibiscus are most susceptible to mealy bugs and your croton plant will catch bugs easily .

I have Agromin Max and Seaweed granules + liquid; will any of these two Micronutrient be good? How much in quantity and only in the Potting soil or even later (what frequency)? Secondly, when you say 'Acidic soil' kindly name a few Organic fertilizers that can be added (other than the chemical ones that you have mentioned) their dosage + frequency. Thank you !!

Yes both of them are good . Thrice a year is good . Doses depends upon size of the plant and pot . ( see the instructions written on the back of pack ) Peat moss, compost and manure, moistened, make an acidic soil fertilizer that can be mixed into soil that's too alkaline. Compost that already contains coffee grounds will be even more acidic, as an added benefit to your plants.
