I did mention it in the video but it wasn't too clear, so I apologize for that. Be sure all your trees have fruit on them if you want to propagate them. Happy Fae Farming!!

the bigger jar of bees, the more bees you get per releasing. Small one release one per hive, medium one release two, and I think big one release three. Still not worth to make the big one, but I been using the medium ones! Also, you do not have to wait until the jar of bees effect before you can pop another one. The hive get new bees right when you start opening the jars, so you can spam them until the hives are full and then wait the effect to pass to collect.

Correct. I like to use the medium one too since I have tons of nectar but when you haven't been able to collect enough nectar, the small one works perfect. :)

I've been experimenting with propagation and discovered a couple of things. I started out with the 4 original trees you can buy and 3 propagation hives. Worked fine and I got an okay number of saplings, usually one a day. Except for cherry and grapefruit. Only got one cherry and no grapefruit in most of a year. I moved my orchard up to the mountain farm for more room and set up a 6 tree area with a nice amount of space between them and 3 hives. If you line the hives up right down the middle you can cover the whole 6 trees and leave more room for saplings to grow as they won't spawn without enough room from the other trees. I also used only second tier trees. My cherry, 2 apricot, a persimmon, pomegranate and an orange. Wow! You were right about using the second tier trees! I'm averaging 3 saplings a day of all kinds. Pear, apple, cherry, orange, persimmon, apricot, etc. even got my first grapefruit. The weird thing is, only 2 of these trees has fruit on them. Only one when I started. But the others appear to be making saplings too. I'm a bit confused, but not complaining. Lol. Thanks for your video that got me started. I never would have figured out the whole Jar of Bees thing. 😄

@@martintiu1498 No, you don't need 9 hives. That's just how many I use for my personal preference. You can use as many as you want. More or less. And yes, the tree 100% needs to have fruit on them in order to produce a sapling.

Many thanks Jade! I'll have to redo my set up and try again - for two in game years I had one propagation hive covering one area with one of each of the apple, plum, pear & peach (they were in each corner of the covered area). Nothing...not a single sapling. I tried with fruit left on, fruit harvested, kept the propagation thing full of bees daily. I'll retry this and increase the number of propagation devices and see what happens. Wish me luck!

Your video tutorials are absolutely fantastic. Easy sub. I just finished hybridizing every flower on my main farm. SO MANY FLOWERS! Lol. I really really wish they’d let us make the hybrid seeds at our garden bench because I am totally not doing that at my other farms. You can also let the bee potion go near your hives in a fenced in area and they'll settle in the hives and immediately start making honeycomb 🎉

That is correct. If your tree has NO fruit on it, it will not provide you with a sapling. Keep fruit on all the trees you want to use for propagating. :) Happy Fae Farming!

Yes, beeswax is definitely more valuable. I only make honey if I ever need it for cooking which isn't very often. The fruit I turned into sliced fruit and then that turns into fruit jam at the Artisan table which sells for tons of money.

You can totally have more than 4 if you want but keep in mind the more you have, the less spots you'll have available for a sapling to grow. :)

Why do you have paving round your trees? Doesn't that limit where they can spawn?

It's just a visual to show you where they can't spawn when you have a tree in that spot. Each tree has a "hit box" area where you can't place other trees. If you only have 1 tree you are breeding, definitely don't put all those other pavement spots. ;-)

No, your farming skill is for your crop farming. Sapling growth has nothing to do with your farming levels.

There are 6 seasonal fruits you get from propagating and 4 base fruits you buy from the vendor so 10 in total. They are all listed in your almanac. :)

You have to furnish your main house with the cozy furniture to raise your bars. It's called your cozy level. 🥰

The queen bees are so annoying to find. -_- Although one time when I found one when I was mentally complaining about having trouble finding them. :P I'd love to mimic your 9 hive setup if I can get enough queen bees for it.

Ji, I new on fae farm. Sorry may sounds silly. But if you need 1 worker bee to make a potion. And the propagator bee give only 1 bee. Why use that single bee from the begining? Have I missed something?

I worker bee will give you 1 potion. 1 potion will fill EACH propagation hive with 1 bee. If you have 9 propagation hives like I had in the video, you would get nine worker bees in total. Now if you only have 1 propagation hive with 1 jar, obviously it's pointless to use it. The key is to have multiple propagation hives to gain a bee profit. If you have 20 propagation hives and you only use 1 bee for 1 small potion, you end up with 20 bees after using the potion. Hope that clears it up. ;-)

I've found the best way to make a lot of money quite quickly is polished gems. All toy need to do, to make this worth doing, is upgrade your pickaxe. One visit through the mine, you can collect about 10k worth of rough gems, polish them up and some of them sell for about 300 to 400 + I'm still on year one and I have all the work stations full upgraded 1 house, all my tools to silver and, upgraded my rod, and bug neti have 3 farming areas 3 animal pens. The other OK way of making money is making fish jerky which sells for 400 each though does take ages to catch the fish and put it through 2 food prep stations, but each to their own 😊 I am terrible at catching bugs so do it as little as I can, try the gems thing and see if it's quicker

It seems the jar of bees “glitch” no longer works. I just get the amount of bees that I put into the potion to begin with. They may have patched it. Finding the bee every two minutes in the Fae forest is still the same.

The jar of bees is not a glitch. That's how it's intended to be used in the game. The small potion will give you one bee, the medium will give you 2 and the large should give you three. If you have 5 propagation hives out while using the small potion, you should get one bee per hive, (so 5 bees).

You reclaim it like you were removing crafted items and it will go into the farming tab in your build mode.

The tail is actually part of the wings that you can get from the Wisp mother's wing shop. The cat ears are from the Winter festival at the end of the year. :)

How much space is required between trees?

Each tree needs 2 square spaces between eachother. If you place the propagation hives down and hover over it, you can place one tree on each corner and saplings will grow all around the center areas.

Do you have the bee hive recipe in build mode? You'll have to complete chapter 3 to unlock the recipe.

You'll need to complete the first dungeons, Saltwater Mines, and then continue into the next chapter with the Wisp Mother. Follow all the story line quests and you'll get there. ;-)

The recipes usually become unlocked/visible once you've discovered the resources required to craft them. Have you collected bug juice and worker bees?

​@@harley4149make a lot of propagation hives. Then make some bee potions. Stand by the hives and use the potion. The hives will fill with bees, and you can take them out and keep them to put in other hives

They really his some stupidly complicated things in this game. Flowers are bad enough... they added tedious crap to hope people play past the short story and bland characters. I finished this and went to Blue Oak Bridge. Much more relaxing and fun. Thanks for letting me know something I would have had no clue how to use. I didn't know you needed the fruit on the tree. They literally tell you nothing in the game..

You have to leave the fruit on. I should have guessed that, because that's how the flowers work, having to be full grown to hybrid. Ugh, so much wasted time.
