If used properly, his last combo attack can take out a keep in one fell swoop, even taking out the keep boss in the same attack, and his fully charged heavy attack absolutely shreds officers

I think they fixed it in the definitive edition. I have hyrule warriors on wii u and on the switch and I realized that it doesn't work anymore or it's at least much harder to pull off on the switch version. I think it has something to do with how enemies spawn in keeps. It's different on the switch version.

Ganondorf's moveset is in my opinion the absolute best of them all. When equipped with Hasty Attacks and Regular Attacks and the rest makes it the strongest of them all

Something really important you forgot to mention about the C1 is that it’s effectiveness scales with how much charge the meter has. At zero charge, the attack is slow, lacks power, and range. Overall making it more hurtful than helpful. But at full charge, not only is it’s power and frame data buffed, but Ganondorf even becomes invincible when using it!

Another thing to note about C6: while Ganondorf has no invincibility frames during it the attack can't be interrupted by any sort of hitstun or launch once the shadow Ganon is summoned, making it an excellent move to cheese Gibdos and ReDead Knights with.

Ganondorf's Great Swords are able to dish out so much damage so easily. That fact that you can dodge cancem most of his combo moves before the attacm and still get the strong attack charge means that he can very quickly fill up his strong attack and have very easy access to one of the most oveepowered moves in the game. A quick, invincible, and very powerful move that ignores guards, breaks WPGs immediately, and inflicts darkness effect on your enemy is just ridiculous to me. Also, out of all the top and high tier darkness characters, he is the only one of two who can break boss weakpoints with virtually no trouble. His duel potential is also a bit lacking. Though his op strong attack helps to negate this a bit. Even though I don't think he's the best of the darkness characters, I do think he is the third best one, and among the top 10 of warriors in this game.

Something I don’t see mentioned much about his great swords is how you can stay safe and do INCREDIBLE damage with his C1 and ONLY his C1. This is one of my favorite ways to deal with Captain only fights. First, always keep a safe distance away from anything that can harm you, don’t try to land a single blow till fully charged. Perform his C4, but dodge cancel out of the animation ASAP, then do this once more and you near instantly have a fully charged C1 ready without having to engage with anything. You’ll almost always have enough invincibility to perform the attack so that all captains close by are knocked back far enough to charge your gauge again. Bosses are the only thing to watch for as you’ll be vulnerable to certain attacks after your attack animation is over. This is one of the best methods I’ve found to stay safe from all NON-boss damage and get missions done quickly. Sheiks water shield is great n all but it can be taken down rather quickly at times when enemies are red and have a high attack power, and Sheik can’t even begin to do damage like Ganondorfs great sword C1

Overall i think Ganon's Trident is better, His Great Swords are still really great too. Ganondorf is a Lawn Mower in this game.

Ganondorf is so freaking epic in this game, I even did an impression of him! Keep in mind it was all based on his limited vocals. But I think it turned out alright. kzbin.info/www/bejne/joKviXmjg66YkLs You know what's kind of ironically funny? Link uses light and has a dark version of his Magical Sword. Ganondorf uses darkness and has a light version of his great swords.

Not completely but he does get some i-frames on it, as well as on his str 6 that can make enemy attacks miss completely, combined with doing a billion damage and massive knock back on it too.
