Thanks for recording. Next time maybe consider doing some quick amplification on your voice? I tried to listen to this in my car and I could not get it to be louder than the sound of the highway.

The TicTok with Drew Barrymore & Jay Shetty❓That just hit me “in the feels.” My heart goes out to her.💞 I can relate. Will def. be getting several copies: for myself, my grown children, my siblings and my Book Club. This book can open the door to understanding, compassion and truly feeling love - in ALL it’s forms.

Emotional and familial dysfunction does not equatable to a absence of love. Much of the unsubstantiated assertions of the meaning love within this chapter negates the obvious presence of love. Love manifests in many forms and expressions, a parent may become violently protective of the object of their love (the child) if there’s a perceived threat a great enough magnitude. Love is not negated by criticism nor punishments.
@JV-cz6fz2 жыл бұрын
It doesn’t matter what the intention is. The fact is that the child will INTERPRET the “love” in a way that may or may not be detrimental to their future relationships or definition of love. Love can have good intentions but still not land correctly. Maybe when the child grows up they may understand or maybe not but it doesn’t change the fact that they perceived the “act of love” in a certain way.
