In which my ADHD has prevented me for working on this channel for the last two months.
In all seriousness, I've missed KZbin quite a bit, but I've been very burnt out recently. I think it was a combination of the last school year which was incredibly stressful on me and also my more recent focus on my writing and blog work. I hope everyone understands that I'm trying my best. If you left me a comment and really need a response, I am so sorry but for the sake of my mental health I can not guarantee that I can respond to all comments anymore, especially comments relating to animal health because those are both mentally draining (because they are often sad topics) and also take a lot of my time. I will probably start replying to those comments in the future with a recommendation to please talk to a specialized pet forum about your concerns. I will hopefully respond to all other types of comments about just other stuff though :)
I also hadn't really been commenting on other people's videos because (I'll be honest) I was extremely burnt out from pet care and had reached a point where the best I could do was take care of my pets in private. I hope you understand, I still love all of my petkeeping friends, I'm sorry I could not engage with your recent videos, I just haven't been the state of mind to be able to. I hope everyone understands that I made a lot of these choices for the sake of my own health. If you have any questions, I will answer to the degree at which I feel safe. Thank you for 379 subscribers. That is a number I never would have imagined possible in my life. I'm going to be honest, I never thought I deserved this amount of support, so the fact that I have it means the world to me and is incredibly validating. Thank you for being part of that. :)

Unless the image is directly of my own pet, it is very safe to assume that I did not take that photo and you can find it either in the links above or on Canva I try to specify from video to video exactly what images I use, but with Canva it is difficult to link back to the original material. OK I'm 15 seconds in and I'm already doubting the video. How can a knowledgeable person not expect eggs with mourning geckos? And there's like a 6 week lead time where you can see their bellies get big with the eggs.

not about the mourning geckos but i noticed a bug on the glass when you were showing the isopod, my bf and i recently just had an infestation of them in our cages and didn’t know if they were bad or not there was just a lot of them so we quarantined everyone and cooked all the dirt but do you know what it is and what they do? i just want to know if i spent weeks cooking dirt for nothing 😭😂 loved your video!❤

GREAT VIDEO! If they happen to lay their eggs on a leaf of some sort, should I remove the eggs on the leaf and place them in a container?

I can not keep my Geckos from eating their own eggs... it is their favorite food. . . . I wish they would lay their eggs on something like a plant which I could move them or cover within reason. . .

I'd recommend putting small tubes in with them, they'll usually then lay their eggs in there and it makes it easy to remove them^^

I have 2 mourning geckos(Cagney & Lacey) - when I got them they were already laying eggs so they were "guessed" to be around 10 months but they were imported, not local bred. I've had bad luck with eggs, they were eating their eggs after laying them before I could even see them. I do have 1 egg I saved(the one next to it was eaten) and it's been growing. I can see the veins inside, and it's been filling up as the air pocket is getting smaller and smaller. I hope it hatches soon. It's been over 65 days, but if it can take up to 103 days it can take until December. I am getting impatient. I saved 2 eggs the other day, but I think only 1 is fertile. 1 is getting a network of veins, the other is not. I DO hope to get babies soon though

My mourning gecko layed a egg like a week ago and I have 2 adults and like a juvenile and they haven’t ate the egg yet and I also recommend adding a Fish hide for the moms to lay in because that’s were mine layed her egg and that’s probably why they won’t eat it so I would definitely add a fish hide for the mourning gecko because they will use it so I would definitely add that if you haven’t already
