Don't bottled up Erika. I was once married for 15 years, a career woman who tried balances my personal and business life. For me the hardest was my married life and yet I tried my best to managed it even when I was exhausted. I always exercise honest communication no matter how difficult it might be but there are things that I couldn't changed and that is I never asked even if I wanted to ask, even if I know that there are critical issues that I needed to know and yet I didn't asked. I just relied on our own rules of honest communication that I thought we both did. All what happened was I just filled the bottle until it exploded, I only then realized that not asking is not ok and not having an arguments is ok. I was trying to be best in my marriage by not asking and let my former felt that he married his ideal woman as a wife in which I also realized was wrong. I don't nag that's understandable for a soft spoken person like me. Pleasing a man all the time is chaos that I just realized after my annulment. I only realized everything later on. Whenever I visited my married friends living in Southeast Asia (our lives were like kdramas that despite the distance we had managed to see each other 2x or 3x a year at least), they are the ppl that often told me to ask and not keeping in to please but I never listened to that and thinking it was ok not to ask. Well to make the cut, I had wasted my 15 years with a man whose insensitivity is soaring high in the sky. When I accidentally saw your post from my wall feeds, out of curiosity I clicked on it and watched the "Daddy I'm home" episode. Warmth my heart so I subscribed this morning then found this post this afternoon on my wall and seen "Real talk". and now I found myself sharing some thoughts to ponder to may be it'll help you. Keep open and learn to swallow a bit of a pride. Be objective at some point. Keep it simple and clear. Love with reservation, always on check but not obvious. Things will be smoother if you do that as I learnt lessons from the previous. You seemed to be a very nice person and nice person not literally but usually the target of life unpleasantries. I wish you have more peaceful and happiest days that this life could offer. Your little Dana is an angel, so cute. God bless you and Ricky ❤

Saved by Dana! Baby soooo happy and cute! Not sure what prompted questions like that except women will dig deep with "btw" type questions just becuz of insecurities. Kuya Ricky, sorry for being nosy, I'm not sure if I am correct with my observation with Erica or not or I'm just assuming, but I think there are things that you need to assure or tell your wife that "your love for her becomes stronger and deeper" as time passes by especially now that you're already a married couple and have a baby... Most of the time women loves to hear that kind of words from their man, for them to feel loved and appreciated. Women like romance you know... Especially Filipinas, we like romance and sweetness and "kilig" stuff/notions from our significant others... But not all the time just to be clear! It depends on the situation... 😁 Look at the difference of Erica's reaction on 9:24 (when you said that "nothing much change from what you feel before and after marriage", compare to 10:27 wherein you then agree to your wife that you felt the same way like her, like you got closer or open to each other when it comes to sharing personal emotions unlike before)... See her body language, the intonation of her voice, how her reaction suddenly elated and the way she smiled after hearing that? Just my observation... ✌🏻
