Koreans don't really use the Pronouns when it comes to speaking but we should learn them in order to understand how to formulate sentences. But don't get me wrong! This/That/It in Korean can be really important ;)
We will cover more grammar points one by one and get the idea how to make sentences together.
I'm Serena, a Korean teacher with almost 10 years of experience. Don't forget to subscribe my channel for further amazing videos/lessons that I'm trying to share with you!

For 저 펜 doesn’t 저 mean “i” as well?
@SerenaKorean
@SerenaKorean 4 ай бұрын
No, each syllable doesn't always have the same meaning in general, even though it has the same pronunciation as the other. 저 from 저 펜 is shorten(?) form of 저것 :)

I hope you also include the English spelling of the translated word.. I mean, write it in English as we can not read Korean letters. ☺️ I just want to ask by the way why you pronounce the words in a different way.. like, "jeo" is pronounced as cho? Daeng as dang? Kinda similar to English also. We are a bit confused how do we read the words? Hehe. Thank you
@catenjoyer76

I highly suggest you learn how to read Hangul (the korean alphabet) before trying to learn these words. By learning (and I recommend knowing it well) hangul you'll be able to understand why words are pronounced a certain way.
@SerenaKorean
@SerenaKorean Жыл бұрын
Thank you for your suggestion :) However, as Valeria mentioned, I'm avoiding using romanizations to prevent wrong pronunciation / accents etc. I recommend you learn and memorise the Korean alphabets first and you won't need romanization anymore :P Regarding your question about 저 [jeo]. ㅈ [j] definitely sounds like ㅊ [ch], it's because Korean sounds are different than Roman based languages' pronunciation. If you watch my videos about the Korean alphabets, you'll get useful information! Hope it helped :)

didn’t get why you translated “my(our) home” as 우리 집 and not 우리의 집 :,) is it ok in korean to use personal pronouns instead of possessive ones? hope you’ll answer my question😓
@SerenaKorean
@SerenaKorean 9 ай бұрын
That's a good question! 우리'의' 집 apparently Koreans love to skip some 'not important' grammars especially when it comes to possessive. We become more lazier to even pronounce [의] so, most of cases, we say it [에]. Which can be confused a bit as a language learner! Hope this helped!

I don't believe Koreans hate Indians specifically. We hear the news time to time about India, and people are showing their anger sometimes when they hear brutal crimes in everywhere in the world, including India.
