NO MORE CONFUSION! This video is for EVERYONE especially for the people who has been struggling with Korean subject particles, 은/는 and 이/가.
Probably the way I explain about the subject particles is pretty different than what you've learned, that's why you MUST watch this video. This new perspective of the subject particles will answer all your questions ;)
Again, it's not a 'Subject particle vs Topic particle'.
I'm Serena, a Korean teacher with almost 10 years of experience. Don't forget to subscribe my channel for further amazing videos/lessons that I'm trying to share with you!

Thank you, Serena, for your videos. I’ve only just discovered them and they are by far the best on learning Korean. Your explanations makewhatever topic you’re teaching clear and easily comprehensible, and your voice is such a joy to listen to. I feel blessed to have found you as a resource in my Korean language learning adventure. Where did you learn English?

It looks like you've stopped making videos. It's a shame that your view + sub count doesn't reflect the quality of the content you put out. This is good stuff. I've been learning Korean with an online tutor for about 6 months now. Like a lot of other learners, 은/는 and 이/가 were my worst enemies for a while. I still get tripped up every once in a while 😅I think the biggest contributing factor is that, while the rules you've laid out are good guidelines, there are still exceptions (take a drink every time that happens while learning a language...) I know your video says to not worry about "topic vs subject" but one thing I find extra interesting about 은/는 is that it can assign the topic for all subsequent sentences until the topic changes again. If I understand it correctly, when you say "XYZ는 ..." then both people can just omit the topic/subject entirely and all the verbs are implied to be connected to XYZ until the next 은/는 pops up. I've only spoken English for most of my life, so I'd never really given much thought to the idea that we set the topic implicitly with tone, word choice, or just abruptly going in a different direction. Korean, by contrast, has the equivalent of a topic-changing button built into the language 😄

KOREAN IS MUCH SIMILAR TO HINDI LANGUAGE AS LIKE IN ENGLISH WE SAY, HE PLAYS TABLE TENNIS. THAT IS = SUBJECT+ VERB+ OBJECT . IN HINDI AND KOREAN WE SAY वह टेबल टेनिस खेलता है THAT IS SUBJECT + OBJECT + VERB AND IN KOREAN WE SAYS 그는 탁구를 친다
