While in the last weeks of our RCIA class we as a group all wished there was a RCIA 2.0 because we had learned so much & had a real hunger to learn & grow deeper in our faith in the Church. CIY is like an answered prayer because having Fr. Mike AND Dr. Scott as our guides for a deeper understanding of our faith is a blessing

Thanks, Dr Scott I really appreciate your presentation. I don't have too many questions but if one or two pop I will offer them. Everything that you share just gels together 170 days of following Father Mike Schmitz's wonderful walk in the CIY and the BIY because they complement and complete one another. Can't wait for your next Presentation.

Dr Scott we just finished listening to part of the Baptism Section. I have concerns about my sisters, they are good people. Our parents raised us well. But neither of them has been Baptized. I am still concerned as to how they will get to Heaven. They know about Baptizm, because I am Catholic, As far as I know they have never been Church Goers. Please respond to this question. Thank you Victoria

Is everything destined when we are born? If everything is ordained in our life, then what can we do?🙏🏻😕

Does a person coming from the Lutheran Church have to go through the Catholic baptism? Thank you.
@joanne4009 Жыл бұрын
The short answer is no. If a Protestant Christian converts to Christianity and they have previously been validly baptized, they are not ‘re-baptized’. If there is doubt that the person has been baptized, then that person is baptized conditionally. In that case, if the person HAS already been baptized, then it’s understood that it will not have a spiritual effect.
