We are one big family around the world learning and relearning the Catechism. Father Mike is inspirational and I don’t want to miss a day. Even at age 95, a cradle Catholic, I continue to learn. God bless all of us! 🙏

Interesting topic.

Another example of grave necessity is when the Titanic was sinking and Father Thomas Byles, one of only three Catholic priests on board, was praying the Rosary, reading lines from scripture, and giving last rights as best he could. He didn’t survive the sinking; none of the Catholic priests did. Father Byles did get a decent cameo in the 1997 movie.

I want to thank Father Mike Schmitz and everyone that collaborated to bring us the Catechism in a Year. I learned and enjoyed every moment of my experience. I thank God and the Holy Spirit for leading me onto this journey. It was a great reminder of how rich and beautiful our Catholic Faith is and how much God loves us. 🙏❤️🕊️👌

Day 1 of Catechisms, Bible and Rosary in a year with Fr Mike & Fr Mark Mary( Rosary in a year). My heart is crying out to be closer to God and to be a better Catholic. I'm praying that by doing these, it will bring me closer to God and understand and love him more. God bless everyone doing these teachings and God bless Fr Mike & Fr Mark Mary for blessing us with there time effort to bring us these gems. Happy New Year everyone! ✝️💜

I did it, 2023 and I love it help me alot......Starting again 2025

Today is Day 1 and I will be doing the Catholic Catechism for my NY resolution.

Another year and hoping to gain more insight 2nd time around God Bless all.2025

OK, this will be my third and last attempt. I was able to do BIAY but the catechism is such a word salad that it's painful. My mind wanders and I can't get through it. If I don't manage it this time, I'll go with an older version that doesn't read like it was written by a marxist who's messing with me.

This is my second trip around CIY and I'm so grateful to Fr. Mike and to Ascension for producing this podcast along with BIY and tomorrow, RIY (with Fr. Mark Mary). These podcasts continue to help us transform our faith and increase our love for the Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Had these podcasts not produced, I and some of my family members may not have read the whole Bible and may not have understood the doctrine of the Catholic Church even though we're cradle Catholics. Truly a gift and a blessing to have been introduced to these podcasts. I'm praying for you, please pray for me. God bless and may all of us have a faith-filled 2025 and beyond.✝🙏💗
