😂The 2 dudes were rocking the base & you're right about the girl, her name is Haley Reinhart & finished 3rd place on American Idol in 2011. I love PMJ & how they flip modern songs into classic sounds of the past. Even though PMJ always have different guest artists (it's not a group, its a musical collective created by Scott Bradley out of NYC) , Haley's video's are the most popular PMJ videos. Watch PMJ /Haley Radiohead cover Creep & PMJ/Morgan James (sista with the long blond hair) singing a cover of Aerosmith's Dream On. You need to react to Haley masterpiece "creep"with postmodern jukebox. 114 million views, 58 week Billboard chart. Haley will😂 absolutely blow your mind the way she performed this song. It is considered by many expert to be one of the top singing performances of all time

*So PostModern Jukebox are essential just the pianist Scott Bradlee. He arranges all the music and brings in musicians and singers as required depending on the style he is going for and who is available. The singers vary quite a lot with some coming back often, the musicians are more of a core group he can call on. The guy that starts it off is Casey Abrams who was on American Idol with Haley. The guy waving at the end is the drummer. There is a running joke in PMJ videos where the drummer is almost always hidden but occasionally he pops out to say hello.

I am amazed how many reactors don't the difference between a bass (or bass viol) and a cello. The cello is played sitting down because it is smaller than the bass. The bass is played standing uo and not usually played by two players at the same time - this is great. I also love the last note in this version with the hip shot.

nice reaction. if you really like the first girl, haley reinhart, you need to do a reaction to "creep". it maybe the best cover ever done, bar none. what you saw here with her was just an appetizer for what you will get in "creep". all the other haley/pmj ones are great also: "habits", "black hole sun", "mad world", "seven nations army", "oops i did it again", "lovefool" and her most recent "don't speak" . i think what is so phenomenal about haley is not just her amazing silk to sandpaper voice but also her character and soul that she puts into the performances. even when she uses very little acrobats, her pure raw soft voice is amazing like in the intro of "creep". you see this even more in her solo platinum cover of "can't help falling in love" for the extra gum commercial which is truly stunning and frequently described as what love sounds like. you can find it here: (kzbin.info/www/bejne/laaxoXiYqZyqldE)

Oh ok a double base, I’ve never heard of that instrument. But now that makes sense. A cello is like a large violin isn’t it? And I just realised they were playing it with their hands to so that makes sense ❤️👊🏽

I liked your reaction. Folks in the South would've described it as an 'extra large fiddle' Nobody ever had one, so, we didn't know, but everybody I knew would just call it a standup bass. Other names I've heard include bass fiddle, doghouse bass, double bass. Pretty sure there's more names

Haley was on American Idol season 10. She came out third, but would have easily won the show if there had been "one vote per individual", as opposed to "almost unlimited power-voting. She was easily the best on that show and one of the best ever on American Idol.
