Great conversation guys! I used both of your videos and methods to make a few glass reattachment attempts. I finally gave up and am now in the middle of fully replacing the fabric part of the hood over the existing mechanism. I don't want to fry my CCM!

Lots of options out there and I am sure there is a method to suit your needs. If you use padding in the void to create tension, please do remember to remove it. My car learned the hard way.
