Glad to finally see a comparison video! Music is subjective so different people prefer different sounds from headphone over others. I would use the crushers as gym headphones if you want that extra bass to keep you pumped but use the heavys for a punchy bass base but way more clarity at home when watching movies, casually listening to music and so on. I hope to own both soon
@carlospantojas6419Ай бұрын
Let me tell you something I have been a skull candy fan since they first came out, and they always had great bass. The Heavys is just in a league of their own they could improve on some things, but do not ever doubt the heavys they are something out of this world.

I'm a little surprised that the H1H sounds fine in terms of tuning, but one reviewer has shown that using the wired connection turns off the internal EQ which makes it not sound good at all (with it turned off with only wired audio playing), so all of the tuning has been done with DSP only, I imagine the crushers are the same like most wireless headphones anyway. I still would rather have the crushers simply for the short term fun factor, and still have the other headphones that I have since they sound good enough for all genres of music. As of right now, my wireless headphones are the NAD Viso HP70. They have very good tuning, a little sharp in the lower treble though. They perform well overall, ANC is poorly done unfortunately. Otherwise, I use my wired open-back headphones for when I don't need something wireless.

Thanks for the spot on comparison. I bought the Crusher ANC 2 for the subwoofer sensation in my head, long story short for the FUN. TBH it may looks gimmicky but the personal sound test really helps a lot balancing the high and mid. My optimum setting is 60% Volume and 50% Crusher.

Yeah, i'd have to fully disagree here. I own both and no matter what eq settings I use on the heavys, I cannot get anywhere near as much enjoyment out of them as I do listening to metal on the ANC 2s. I was massively dissappointed with the heavys h1h to be honest.

I was an original investor until i cancelled after a year of getting lied to by Heavys. I am grateful that I did. I also got some of the skull candy crusher evos. I hear every part of the spectrum, but only need about 25% bass setting. Cheaper and a better option than the H1H. Metal, EDM, hiphop and any bass heavy music sounds like dance floor bass.

I am currently listening on some crusher evo's. I have owned the original crusher anc (went through 3 pair...all broke...bass just stopped working).Went to the crusher evo but missed the anc. Bought the anc2's when they came out. Very disappointed. The anc does something weird like it tries to cancel the haptic bass. Returned them. I am looking for more volume overall. More mids and highs. The evo has good bass but the mids and highs are lacking. If you were to buy a set of wireless Bluetooth headphones with the best bass and great sound as well...and loud...really loud with anc...what would you buy? Would like to keep it under 500 bucks. Thanks

The Evos are uncomfortable to wear for long. Pressure points on the top headband. Anc2 is hardly noticeable at cancelling noise. It's barely there and the sound isolation makes anc pointless. Both Evo and Anc2 bass beyond 20% is silly. Still on the fence about buying Heavys.

You know what sucks? The ANC 1 had better bass. It was almost incapable of making things flub. I'd still like to see a comparison between those two. Because I pretty much prefer the older ones more. Even though they don't have as much volume. The bass is just cleaner, on almost anything you choose to use it on. And yes, I have a set of Evos, too. They are also very close, but the ANC 1 still has the best sound. It's too bad that they failed so much. This is my third warranty replacement on the ANC 1, and they're not going to have any more replacements. I think they really should have kept the same exact design as ANC 1, but just upgraded all the features, like they did with the second one. It really just doesn't have quite the same impulse. Maybe that's why they were like $100 cheaper? I have to disagree on how bad you think they sound, though. I mean, use the EQ and set them up right, and they sound pretty damn decent. Except for when the bass gets flubby, from turning it up too much.. And, really clean bass won't make them get so flubby like that.

U shouldn't have to eq a 400 dollar pair of headphones to make them sound good lmao. I'm used to using headphones that sound good without any eq.
@SloppyGoat5 ай бұрын
@@Kudabear1 That's just stupid. Using an EQ is adjusting it to your preferences. If it sounds great flat, then that's great too. But not to even try it? That's just stupid. Don't bother to find out what your headphones can actually do. 🙄 The EQ is like a revolutionary change to the way we listened to music. It's also the most important guitar pedal on my pedal board. It's not abnormal or even uncommon to use the EQ.

@@SloppyGoat everytime I've ever eqd a headphone it makes it sound worse lmao. It cuts other frequenciess as u boost and just sounds unbalanced and unnatural. Controversial opinion, it should sound good out of the box
@SloppyGoat5 ай бұрын
@@Kudabear1 You must not have a very wide hearing range then. Everyone's hearing is different. EQs are even used to create the music you're listening to. So, to argue against their effectiveness is just ignorance. Oh, and the hearing test, personalization, actually tests which pitches you can actually hear. And adjusts it so you can hear those pitches more clearly. That's actually surprisingly effective.
