What makes a fish easy to keep? -Minor and normal Requirements, easy to get them to eat. What makes a fish moderate to keep? -some specific requirements like for examples, Algae on their diet and live rocks for ALGAE. What makes a fish so Difficult/Expert to keep? -Major Requirements like Pods, Sponges, and a Pristine Tank. And some major feeding requirements.

Do u think 1 Scopus, 1 sail-fin and 1 Bristle-tooth Tomini Tang would be compatible in a 125 if I introduce same time? I have all 3 in separate tanks currently

Please help! Our new tang is not eating. Paramaters are fine, and feeding cool green flakes and mysis...but she is not interested and hides. Any suggestions would be appreciated! :)
@BrockLeonard
@BrockLeonard 2 жыл бұрын
Get some dry seaweed and a clip. Try to place the clip with algae on it near where the tang is hiding. Sometimes at night they’ll come out to eat it. Sinking pellets are also a good trick to try and drop where they are hiding.

Johnny Carreiro with these guys, it’s just a luck of the draw. We’ve taken care of a lot of em at the fish store and sometimes they’ll be super shy and some will be always in the front

When we got our scopas we got a open swimmer because the regal we there to encourage him but the foxface and damsel we have bullied him so the regal encouraged him to swim out in the open but then the regal began protecting it from the foxface and damsel

Brock Leonard right mine just did that a couple minutes ago and by that I mean that he only sticks his legs out for food but he found a piece of krill left over on my sand bed but my cleaner shrimp decided to take it from him so he didn't get to eat it and he's not coming out of his hole and I'm thinking that when they're hungry they will come out of their hole look and search for food on the sand bed please let me know if I'm thinking right cuz I really don't know I've only been in this hobby since either February or March of last year

Would a Koi Scopas tang be ok with a Purple Tang? An LFS just recently got a 4" one in and I'm in love but I don't want it to fight with the Purple Tang.

Those purple tangs tend to do best alone. In my experience, they never allowed another tank to join the tank :/

Next do the solar wrasse. Because you didn’t do the purple tang. And UV doesn’t help very much. Same for the cleaner wrasse. What you need is a quarantine tank for any type of fish.
@BrockLeonard

Liam But well when people recommend a fish to do, I write it down and keep it up with it. I can’t do a fish video on it till I get footage of it.
