I owned an original torker and I raced it was a wonderful bike. It was all red chrome and black. The bike stood out. out and it was fast.

Threadless forks and 990 brake mounts was the correct call. 👍 My old school bike is endless headaches with wimpy sidepull brakes and wimpy quill stem.

I still have my 1979 Torker XL Track bike blue , blue 3 piece sugino maxi in new condition almost from 80 on it with gold real mks pedals from in very good condition and blue ukai perfect racing wheels from 79 with gold high flanged front and low flanged rear flip flop suntour racing hubs I'm going to rebuild the wheels with blue titanium spokes with gold nipples I have real yellow soft competizone newer snake belly 1.75 tires front and rear ,all gold rear only diacomp mw1000 brake from 79 newer yellow diacomp heavy duty bmx race brake cable I'll post photos when done with the frame powdered coat ,brand new original back from 82 oakley 3 ergo yellow grips
