I really enjoyed this video, very entertaining. But can someone please give me some information about the triangle's history? (how it was first made and how it evolve in it's current forms) I need to make a presentation about an instrument so I chose the triangle because it doesn't get too much attention, but unfortunately, I haven't found any information about it's history. Can you help me?

The musical triangle as we know it today was not invented, rather it evolved from earlier things. As such, it is difficult to put a definitive date on it. At what point does it stop being a proto-triangle and become a triangle? Suggested origins include horse stirrups, the Ancient Egyptian Sistrum and even flint-striking tools.
