Mink is my favorite of all. One and done with it is beautiful! I started buying VB lid luster’s because of this color. I do have the all. The black and blue are also beautiful although I don’t wear them as much. I wish and hope she does an emerald green!

This was very useful! Thank you. I got my first lid lustre in Tea Rose and wore it today. I am in love with the formula, the packaging and the very peculiar colour. I want to get more, but I have a lot of gold and bronze, being a Pat McGrath fan. I hope VB puts out even more colours.

I have watched this a few times. I'm treating myself to a lid lustre (or two!) for my birthday coming up. I have mink, tea rose, and honey. I think I'm going to get chiffon and velvet. I have fallen in love with these again.

I have Mink and although it's beautiful and I love it I really don't wear it enough. I think it's because the colour is a bit dark to be worn as an everyday shade at least on me. You're really making me want Velvet though, it's very unique!

I love mink the most. I also have the midnight and blonde shades, which I don't use very much but do like. I just picked up Chiffon, and I am excited to try that one. The honey and tea rose shades don't really appeal to me because I have those colours in so many other palettes. I don't like gold tones on me, and the Onyx shade is too dark.

Lovely Kate, the velvet shade is made for you! There are 5 shades that are appealing to me : Mink, Tea Rose, Mirror, Blond and Chiffon. But I have CT smokey quartz. And I like this color. But I don't need 2 colors that are so similar. Blond is also no option because of the fall out. So tea rose is a great contender together with Mirror. And Chiffon is mabe to similar to other shadows in my collection. But I am not sure I will pick up a lid luster because I have some hard time with cream shadows in pots. I don't like the idea of that. But it is possible I that I will try eventually one, to see for myself how great these are ( so many on you tube like them)

Kate do you think it is necessary to use synthetic or hybrid brushes with this formula? Will I damage my animal hair brushes, or is it just that they aren't stiff enough to lay down the product effectively?

I think you can make it work with any of synthetic/ hybrid/ animal but fully synthetic I find harder to pick up the product, and with animal, it can pick up too much at once. I have found with the hybrid, it gives me the perfect balance 🥰

I just had to return two lid lusters because the sparkles literally get everywhere and they do not come off. One week later, I am still finding sparkles in bedded in my skin, which gave me a break out. Horrible stuff. Not to mention way overpriced.
