The only difference I see is the streaming live part (like real walkie-talkie), which maybe useful for when instant contact is required. But yeah... its something that whatsapp or any of the others could add overnight and wipe these guys out.

+Folarin Hi! Actually, not quite. Voxer allows you to talk live with other users, while automatically recording your voice as a message. Thus, you can talk live or listen later. Just like a walkie-talkie! (On WhatsApp, you can only send recorded voice messages.) Hope that helps! :)
