I stayed in one of the lodges for a week last year. To be able to stand on the pier and watch the sun rise is simply awesome. Its a place to go for peace, calm and a much needed reset. Great video.

Jan de Groot opened a trading post. There's more there than last time I went. Hotel, a few new buildings, gift shop or two and a cafe and the passenger ferry. The first time even less, the octagonal hotel, a gift shop and the ferry. We were supposedly camping but the weather was wild, wet and windy so we stayed in the hotel.

You were very lucky, with the weather, my wife and i were there in April 2023 and it was very cold windy and rainning. My hands were very cold holding the camera, plus i could'nt hold the camera still due to the strong winds. Nice to see your videdo and how much nicer the place looks when the weather is better. Also im not use to cold weather, ive lived in Thailand for the past 12 years.

my god Blackpool has changed, you seem to be very lost. that was a long walk to get there hehehe £3 for parking is a bit much. dumped car no plates you can still find the owner from the vin number. why not just push it off a cliff. may be in Blackpool look at the places that were on four in a bed. are they still owned by the same people. has it changed.

Been a few times and to be honest I always find it underwhelming, especially as it's a rather boring road if you have done it once. Personally I prefer the west coast of Scotland.

I used to love this channel when it was walkabouts in Blackpool… now it’s lost what made it so special so I think I’ll unfollow. All the best for the future and thanks for all the great videos you’ve done.

Has a complete sense of humour failure from my last video, yet still watches my video from John O’ Groats. Thanks for the stats 🙏
