Im just wondering what being a adoptee has to do with the way you fill and how you express and see things within your self and your life and the path you have chosen for yourself ? I'm also an adoptee but I was thankful my Mother and Father thay didn't won't me to be abandoned or alone so they adopted me and gave me love security a life I would have never had I choose not to let it define who I became and what path I have chosen for myself I also was diagnosed with schizophrenia and I can not blame the two wonderful individuals who gave me a gift that I'm grateful for to call them My Mouther and Father and to the bio individuals who conceived me and the individual that berthed me I also give them the respect they deserve for giving me the individual traits I was born with but that's all they did they don't define me or influenced who I am or who I became no individual should have that kind of power over anyone I will continue to think for myself to live to my life with the upmost respect for both bio parents and then My Mother and Father who taught me to be myself to be a individual that will strive everyday to overcome the mental illness I so desperately struggle with on a day to day basis that only I can and must control so it doesn't destroy Me or My Life !

@@lakotawhatley4963 i started dissociating after awhile.. to me, it kinda felt like Im so immersed in my past whether i want to be or not, that its making impossible for me to move forward without imposter syndrome or my brain actively looking for reasons for me to fail at life.. or like you said, just shutting down sometimes.. once we are survivors, we have to tell ourselves we no longer function like everybody else, and thats okay. weve had to sacrifice so many things, that our fight or flight reflexes have either amplified or turned off completely.. either way, one day at a time is the key, finding your happy is the key.. so im so incredibly happy your fiance is there for you. Love is what heals us.
