I bought the v2 and it’s an amazing pedal which adds so much to your sound.

The epitome of lusciousness. I'm a sucker for those 2 effects and those sound spot on. Excellent choice of song to introduce them Chris.

I LOVE the White Whale.... That being said, I won't be going for V2... Unfortunately, I received a bad box for my V1. I had a wire from the circuit board brushing up against the springs, which would prevent reverb decay. After I fixed that, the reverb would just randomly stop working.... I think this is one of the best sounding verbs on the market, and the trem is amazing. That being said, it is a very impractical pedal on a board, due to it's fragile handling and overall size. If you do a lot of studio work or home playing (and use amps w/o verb), then this is a great buy.

Thats sooo swweeeet. I think CTS nailed it (as they are recently), this is very tempting. I have skipped Surfy Bear and EchoFix reverb, but this, with the super sweet tremolos is on another level.
@KrisBarocsi8 ай бұрын
Yeah dude, that tremolo alone is super addictive. Especially because it nails all three types of trem. And then there's the spring reverb... 🥵 Pretty darn good.

This would probably be a great companion for my Fender Silverface Champ.

Wow interesting how good reverb sounds even though they are small springs inside the pedal, unlike the reverb tank long springs. Interesting. Curious also how they make spring reverb on pedals like BigSky.
@KrisBarocsi8 ай бұрын
Yeah it's tricky. The smaller enclosure compared to the full sized reverb tanks is surely a challenge but man, they figured it out at Crazy Tube Circuits. :) The big sky is a very different story, that's a digital emulation, which only needs a strong chip and a complex program to sound as real as possible. There are not that many digital spring reverb emulations that I really like tbh.

Question, does this pedal becomes part of the sound or does it feel more like an effect ? If that makes any sense. I own the Deluxe Reverb and Princeton Reverb plus some non reverb/tremolo amps as well. I miss the reverb effect on those amps.

Nice demo, nice pedal. Have you compared it to the Keeley Hydra? Thoughts?

You just have to figure out how to clone your kidney and you have endless financial resources. 😂 Jokes aside, this is a special one and worth saving up for. 🙌

Hi, Sounds OK or passable overall, but the spring reverb effect does not have a true, strong and decent proper spring drip sound going on(so sad), and secondly most of the controls for both effects are fairly weak, in that they don't alter the tonal sound character of both effects much at all. Very average here, and better sounding spring and tremolo pedals can be purchased elsewhere i think. This pedal is passable , but quite average IMO. Greg

CTC , enough said. You know the girl on the beach in that chris issac video was like 15 or something?! That ain’t right, but that pedal is soo right!
@KrisBarocsi8 ай бұрын
What? Luckily things like that can’t happen anymore. Not cool. What’s cool though is the White Whale, big time.
