All Arena Battles at Blazing Speeds [] Octopath Traveler: CotC

This is the one video where I put absolutely no limitations on myself. Every A4, limited characters, weeks worth of heavy weapon grinding - nothing is barred to produce the fastest arena clears possible. I hope you enjoy the video because it took many hours over several days to accomplish! :D

Quick Notes:
- The clears are very stable with some exceptions in Ri'tu and Largo. But even with unfavourable RNG I could easily clear them in +1 turn.
- A4's used: Lynette, Primrose, Eliza, Sofia, Elvis, Yunnie, Tikilen, Varkyn and most of the available 4 star A4s.
- Features some heavily optimised Fortune Weapons that was necessary to produce low turn clears.

Very enjoyable video :) One small nitpick is that you could’ve 2bp boosted turn 5 where you had just one source of active elem down, then 3bp boosted your dps after it was applied by lynette to cap. 😊

Glad to hear you enjoyed it! 😄 It ultimately didn't make a difference on that clear, with like 1% increase in performance. And I didn't think of it at the time. That said, its a good practice to keep as 1% can in some cases mean the difference between a win and a loss.

A 3 turn Glossom that doesn't use Auguste?! I'm in! I have him on a stable 8 turn clear now but have all the units and A4s used here, just need a few more fortune weapons and I should be able to replicate this. The 7 turn Largo is also impressive.

I was reading the comments and I missed the Tikilen fight. lol I hope I can finally clear Tikilen even though I don't think I figured out how to optimize Fortune Weapons. I don't know if I should go straight to Fortune Weapons or work on Origin gear. P.S. Where do we get the character specific souls? Like the Zanta one for his heavy-hitting 5x attack or 2Bs Gravity Potency?

Once you start Bestower of All (forgot what chapter, might’ve been first chapter) you can get either gold souls or character souls from the elite mobs. Or go in exchange->ultimate techniques and it’ll be in soul exchange

Btw, that Rondo damage AOE is bonkers. It's tempting me to pull for him over Rinyu, who I think will be out soon. Why did you have to make Rondo look so good? 😅

I think he shines by his own light xD He was always good. It's the community that make him look bad because there are other units in the future that are even more bonkers. Rinyuu doesn't have the same kind of competition. For now.

So this is the power of good units and good gear. I actually have more to say but i have to get ready for work. Will expand this comment when i get back. I'm back, what i wanted to say was that I've decided to focus on leveling up all of my units to they're max level first before grinding materials for gear. So that way when i get dupes once i start pulling again(whenever that'll be) i can just dump all of my guidestones on to anything i'd need from the exchange instead of hording them for the travelers(and also making going through they're traveler stories a breeze). The red valley boys, the maidens, the octuplets and the majority of the 4stars have already been grinded to Max level(in fact i think that i only have 3 4stars left to max out). And as for the five stars, only Therion and Lars are max level 100(although there some not too far behind them). As you can imagine it is a very slow and tedious process, but i feel like in the end it will pay off. As once i'm done with that i won't need to worry about leveling up my units ever again. At least until Erica, Sazantos, and Leon.

@@EmpyreanSky Thanks and I'll make sure to report back to you once I've made significant progress. Oh, and i just checked and no i don't have 3 4stars left to max out but 16. Not to mention Molu, Elvis, Nona, Harley, and Kersjes being 4.5 stars putting a damper on things. But hey, patience is a virtue right?

You were not kidding when you said "Blazing Speeds" Largo 7 turns? With an ice comp and without A2 or Therion? Almost unthinkable before! Fortune weapons are even better than I expected

The Largo thing was made possible with Varkyn's A4 which came yesterday. I had a team ready, just waiting for the accessory to drop x) Coupled with Laura it's basically a 30% party-wide damage increase for 9 turns! The best thing about this amazing A4 is that it's free! :D
