Temu is a great buy in the States, not in Canada for plastic models at least. I wish we could get the US stuff. Even with the exchange it would be great deal. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work out tha t way. Maybe they will do better.

Just a recommendations, Always avoid buying kit from Temu unless it's made by known brand (Border, etc) at a lower than local price. It's mostly filled with Minihobbymodels (The predecessor of Trumpeter, early 2000), It's horrible, questionable fitting and sold for wayyy overpriced (The retail price is fine, but they are sold for 10 times the retail price). It should only cost 8 Pound max considering the retail price is around 2-4 pounds. Tools, Diorama, Respirator, Ventilation box, paint, brushes etc were great. Got 5 00000 brush for 3 bucks, never had issue with Temu on tools.

Came here for the interesting series on Temu, stayed for the poopy comments at the bottom entirely misinterpreting the whole point of the video. Vitriol over. Iirc, you have a background on chemical engineering or a similar career, Alex. It would be interesting to do a follow up video in the future regarding how well the chemical compounds in those epoxy resin and wave effect gels hold to the test of time and exposure to air and light. Not to diss the manufacturers, but to know what to expect from those products during use and afterwards. Being in Argentina, I've learned to tread lightly - yet firmly - when it comes to local "scale modeling" products with no registered entry in the Ministry of Industry or chemical certifications. Some bloke trying to sell coloring powders for oven glass manufacture as weathering pigments left a couple of people with some serious health issues a few years ago. Several local paint brands have no regulatory information on them, so you never know which ones can be trusted and which contain a chemical firecracker. And that's just a few examples. Anyway, my two-pence advice is, wear gloves and a respirator when trying out that stuff from Temu. Thanks for the insights on the products, mate. Cheers.

@@ismaelmetero4121 it's very disappointing to see a moralising comment talking about money from someone who doesn't support the channel and expects YT creators to produce content for nothing for their entertainment. I've not "sold my soul", I've just taken a very transparent, very obvious and model-related sponsorship. It's clearly labelled in the title, description and the YT flag, you can't claim it's an "accidental" watch, and if you don't like it, then simply don't watch. As YT is my primary income at the moment, I don't have the option of high-horse moralising as you seem to be able to, I need to be able to pay my bills.

Same, Really sad and disappointed to see this video and the level of response to your comment. The comments about supporting YT creators are very telling, slapping together a few videos and shoving them into the public domain while trying to shake loose change out of the modelling communities pockets is something I despise. If I am discussing any hobby with others who share the interest I don't expect to pay for their input or charge for my own, YT should be exactly the same. If you are a public advocate for a company like Temu expect negative comments, if you really want to be an awful person then double down and criticise that person for not giving you money like Temu did..........
