This game had such great characters. The hippy guy, Truth. That CIA/NSA guy who recruits you for insane espionage missions. Wuzi and the Chinese mafia connections you make in San Fierro and Las Venturas with the casino. That insane Latino girl who you date who lives on a mountain out in the countryside and who wants you to rob banks with her. But the villains were the best. Big Smoke was great, but my favourite was officer Tenpenny. He was the other side of the moral spectrum to CJ. CJ was a guy who had no authority in official society, he was a hood kid from the streets, but he had a good heart and made the morally correct decisions. Officer Tenpenny on the other hand was also a black guy from the same city, Las Santos, came from the same neighbourhood, he was a bit older, but importantly he had official authority because he was a cop, but unlike CJ the street kid, he truly was a bastard. He was corrupt and evil, but he held a position of official power in society, despite the fact he fragrantly abused it. CJ and Tenpenny are the obvious moral opposites of the game, and Smoke represents what CJ _would_ have become if he'd let himself be corrupted, if he'd become more like Tenpenny.
