Aside from picking Jacobson over Papali’i on the flank, I think this selection is about right. The wingers could be rotated too.

Have to agree, I think they may go with Papali'i as well.

Blackadder will get picked in the starting side I think. I remember Razor once telling the first XV at the school I worked out that Ethan was the “prototype” for the perfect rugby player. If he can stay injury free he’ll be incredible for us. Big man. Tough. Fearless. Ultra competitive.

Good side as they will put out their most experienced team for the England series, they won't want to lose any of those 2 first up. Then we'll see some new blood for Fiji and I'm excited to see Emoni Narawa behind a dominant forward pack.

Captain Intimidator Scott Enforcer Barrett gives you some idea of Razor's mindset. You must dominate your opponent to be the best in history. Everyone has big beef and skills. The English and Bokkie were big in 1924. The French Welsh Scottish and Irish were big. What set th AB apart then? He was intimidating, ruthless and skilled. They've been lacking in the ruthless intimidation area for a few years. You see glimpses of it. Perhaps Razor will remind everyone.
@poerava5 ай бұрын
You need to be on the field to dominate. Scott is a hard hitting low IQ thug. The only record he is setting is red cards.
@insiderugbywithmark5 ай бұрын
Dont forget the Lions as well, big and brutal. Its the mindset change that will be Razors force de resistance I think.

Hello Mark, that XV certainly laps the opposition by 2 laps tbh feels like we have a brand new Formula 1 team. Engine rooms Jase, Scotty & Greg Feek. Body kit & Electric dpt Rangi and Holland Pitstop team. Razor keeping everything in checks ✔️ starts that engine 🏁

Both the Boks and England have had their easy warmup tests, not so the AB. But, don't you worry Mark, the Kiwis are allways my second team although I hate and admire them at times😁🤭🤣 and I suspect that you may have harboured the same emotions albeit in a positive way. You have heard it here first: die Kiwis gaan skoonskip van die toetsreeks! Translated the Kiwis will beat the English lock, stock and barrel.
@insiderugbywithmark5 ай бұрын
hey Toby, I am not under estimating this English team mate, they are starting to find their stride with this new style of rugby and they will be dangerous. Razor and the lads need to hit the ground running
@natnut20085 ай бұрын
I think a key consideration is the relatively short 2nd row pairing ABs have in Scott Barrett and Tuipulotu. Razor will look to support them during lineouts with genuine tall 3rd lineout jumpers from the loose forwards. Of the loose forwards selected for the 32 man team, only Ardie Savea and Sittiti aren't lineout jumpers, the rest of the loose forwards have been lineout jumpers in the past. I suspect Sittiti is a like for like injury replacement for Ardie.

Reece works a lot harder in general play. Was top try scorer with Sotutu however Sotutu had an extra three games and Reece makes the play wheras Clarke happens to be a reciever of the ball, sometimes he makes his own try.

Hmm SA (current champs) had exactly the same approach v a partly reformed England under a brand new coach in the RWC and managed to win by a point in the dying seconds some say illegally from a scrummaging point of view. England are a LOT better a year later. Also Scott Barrett is a known entity for England and not really shown much. Best of luck anyway.
