I enjoy playing this game. If they had the pass chains working as they did in Rugby 20, it could have had great gameplay. Try using the structure called "Penetrating". I find that the second receiver hits the line like a bullet and you can create some good clean line breaks that are very satisfying. With that structure, I also like to pick the ball out of the ruck with 9 and delay the pass. I find the receiver runs onto the ball if you delay it a little. My biggest fear is that this game will be better than Rugby 25 lol

In its current version Rugby 25 just isnt up to the free flowing game that Rugby 22 offers. Hopefully they do improve it so we can showcase more gamplay on it. Ive tried a couple of different setups for the game, I find on Legend difficulty the AI rushes the penetrating setup too quickly and ends up in more rucks. But might be fun if playing with some lower ranking teams with some more space to work with.

Enjoyed it too. Want to look in to some of the mods to update the teams to modern squads. I was hoping Rugby 25 would take over the gaming videos, but the gameplay aspect is just not there yet.

Sorry they wasted time do face scans, didnt bother making a rugby game, but theres no haka? They've managed to half arse gameplay and presentation?

Would love them to add stuff like the haka in to rugby 25. Something I really enjoyed about Rugby 08, was those really fun cinematics!

At the minute, it is the case. Which is why I switched back to it for the videos. Hopefully there will be big improvements for Rugby 25 to make some entertaining videos on it.

Neither team is in the game yet, plus the gameplay is more enjoyable for a video in rugby 22.
