Fireier axe is in my opinion the best melee because when I was attempting a survivalist solo evac run, it would carry me from nights 1-6, and I couldn't do it with any other melee.

I believe the meeles are situational at best since you might want a decimator or a billhook as a berserker for example since the decimator is a aoe crowd control and the billhook is a good utility tool for following up on dmg or letting your team do the final blow

Honestly, I love the extra range and 5 HP on kill that the executioner brings. It's my no.1 with fireier right after. It's got good utility and also pretty powerful if you have your parries and timings right. But to each their own

@@neutrohnn669 the payoff to finding and making the 100 scrap weapons is their unique abilities such as well the decimators explosion and the billhooks stun combined with range also the fireier axe is USELESS with heavy attacks so watch out for that. (also reaper scythe is essentially an upgraded version of it although yes it is 100 scrap)

This is a recommendation for any survivalist players; get the millbow. You have six slots, and let's face it, you don't have any special abilities. You can rely on your melee, but how are you going to support your teammates when morale is killing you? A millbow isn't affected by morale, and you can refill it with a single wood branch. Think of a millbow as a backliner.

I'd say that morale is more of a universal problem rather than a survivalist problem. I disagree with your overall take though, survivalist is a jack of all trades meaning that you can go any direction you want with them. While milbow is very useful for negating morale, that applies to every perk, not just survivalist. If you aren't suffering from morale, you're gonna be using a suboptimal choice of weaponry compared to something like the AKM. Milbow is at it's best when used by a damned but besides that, it's mediocre.

The Supressed Pistol is really handy when scavenging as you can take out a scav or two without alerting the horde while other weapons will immediately summon a sledgehammer from the depths of hell (I’m looking at you MAGNUM)

People (that arent damned mains) really need to give the milbow more credit Imo its essentially a better pistol since it can probably deal with the early nights just as well and the slower firing speed is a good trade off for silent shots and pretty much infinite ammo I wont go as far to say this is the best bp weapon (because whos gonna carry scav war or night 10 with this 💀) but its really underrated Also great video, i really like dw guides even if i probably alr know half of these things

The ajm and others of The burst weapons is always a go choice for me cuz I feel like full auto guns can only work for mass hordes while the burst can give you calm control , small or ok recoil , and it’s better then the m14 EBR ( my fav rifle ) , it can work aswell on waves if you can aim it well 2 body shots for the 3 round burst and 1 to the head making it a weapon a okay weapon if you aim in the neck ish area

I would honestly say that billhook can be great with Berzerker, if you have the right traits. I usually run it with the faster heavy swings and faster movement speed traits so i can "chain" heavy attacks together. (run around, heavy attacking, and sliding in order to keep my ability bar up, while still dealing as much damage as possible.) due to the range its much more forgiving for the Berz cooldown, allowing more kills per use.

I saw the bow section and It reminded me of the crafted bow. You can craft a cheap bow with a crafted knife and a stick. Deals 55 dmg head shots. You can also craft quivers that have 4 uses to reload bows with a crafted knife and a stone.

Personally I will say this, the modded pistol is great when playing Artillerist and or attempting to take down enemies if you're out of throwing knives/ hunting axes. The ammo capacity ain't great but usually it's great in worst case scenarios. Still a great guide though :D

Silenced modified 1911 pistol is Very best for Vagabond skill to charge faster. And only to use when its melee scavs are near. Warning: don't harm the ranged scavs.... You will know why. It will waste your dogtags to charge and will kill you.

I would honestly put the bow on a decent tier weapon since it's very cheap and does high dmg to the enemies and oneshots most of the weak enemies perfect for clearing scav war nights but not as crazy as modded ak. It can carry you to night 10 but doesn't get the job done against tanky opponents (bosses) and you need some aim to make it work.

Modded pistol: for the inexperienced hi capa: For head clicking pros

Modded Pistol: B tier Great damage, everything else is mediocre. Bad mag size, obstructive sighting, low DPS and bad against crowds. But it's still decent considering small ammo is common Hi Capa: S tier Great mag capacity, decent recoil, best damage for a light ammo gun, also solid DPS. Overall, just a cheaper AKM that's easier to get + Can be dual weilded. Light ammo is also very easy to find R11 RSASS: B tier Solid gun overall. Great mag capacity, good headshot damage, and a scope as well. Pairs well with firebomb or Steel punjis, as 75 damage headshot isn't quite enough to kill most scavs. Would be A tier if heavy ammo wasn't rare Modded Rifle: C tier I never craft this, it's only upsides are mag capacity and hipfire accuracy. Long ammo guns in general are meh, with the exception of the automatic one and the Redeemer too. Kel Tec KSG: S tier Crazy high mag capacity, solid damage, and just very reliable in general. Can also be used as a shell ammo dispenser if you have a better shotgun. Only downside is its long reload time Modded AKM: SS tier The meta. High DPS, high mag capacity, great ranged performance, and just reliable in every way. Literally all but two (M249 and Siminov SKS) medium ammo guns are A+ tier, and Modded AKM is at the top. Medium ammo isn't too hard to find either. Milbow: S tier Very underrated. 85 damage headshot can one-tap a lot of scavs, and the ammo is extremely easy to get. 4 stones for one Quiver, which gives 64 extra shots. Very reliable, and it isn't affected by gun-related Perk cons. Damned's best friend, this thing is definitely worth more than 50 scrap. However, due to its slow firing, this bow isn't great for soloing, as crowds like Scav War will overwhelm you if you don't have anything else. AJM 9: B tier Literally has one use. This gun would be in A tier if short ammo wasn't so scarce. Not worth 100 scrap, it has high recoil, making the burst fire kinda bad. But its DPS is insane (Above 1000 if you hit all headshots), dual wielding these is an easy way to shred Yosef or Sledge Queen. The Decimator: A tier Great overall weapon, crowd control is important as a melee frontliner. My problem with it is that it partially blinds my view when reloading the "shotgun" shells, especially on Merci-Fall reskin. Also forces you to use left-click attacks (bad) if you want rations. Doesn't go well with Berserker sadly. Executioner: B tier I find it fun to use but I'm aware that it isn't that great. Slow speed doesn't allow it to control crowds, and the 5 hp healed is nice and keeps you in the fight a bit longer. Range is great too, although I find the hitbox rather janky. Maria: A tier Kinda like an upgrade of Firerier Axe, focusing on heavy swings rather than light combos. Solid in everything but range, its high speed also doesn't do bad against crowds. Also gives debuffs-o-plenty. Firerier Axe: S tier Seriously powerful, 96 damage full combo paired with its speed and range makes for a weapon that is worth much more than 50 scrap. Since it gives tier 4 fracture, this weapon is completely capable of killing a Sickler. Really no downsides to this weapon. Pairs well with many perks too, like Berserker and Executioner. Billhook: S tier Best defensive weapon. Long range and stun combined pretty much protects you from most melee scavs except for Reikgon Shadows. Damage is subpar, but it can be fixed with things like Executioner's bounties and Berserker's Serum. Pairs well with Executioner and Vagabond. Also can stun Yosef and Sledge Queen. Reaper's Scythe: A tier Like a combination of Firerier axe and Maria. Great damage on both light and heavy attack, and its special shove can do well against crowds. I don't like how it takes up a lot of my screen though, and the shove takes a lot of stamina (50). Pairs VERY well with Vagabond. Before the nerf, it was easily SS Tier.
