That inner trim makes a huge difference when mounting. I also round the square edge a little, but depends on your setup.

I've torn a jconcepts tusk once. They are amazing, but I believe a little less durable than others out there. I drive on some crazy terrain, though, and I'm not easy on them whatsoever. That new megalithic looks like it just might perform. Thanks Joe 👊

@@ExocagedRC I’m not sure what’s up with you and those inserts, but side by side the YZZR don’t hold a candle to the Squid’n’serts or the 3Brc Antifoams and the Squid’n’serts were already custom sized. I’ve tried all of them and the YZZR were the most disappointing. Low cost, sure, but not better. The material is especially inferior. Not trying to upset you, but why the bias?

@@Ginga_Ninja_RCI ordered a few sets from YZZR and after the third time out, a couple of my Tusk inserts are already coming apart. I guess you get what you pay for because the Squid inserts I have are still going strong

Not a chance these will pass the sniff test from Sorrca. Baja Pro X's are a real 1:1 Mickey Thompson tire, these look like a rupture/rover and have open voids in the lugs which has usually been the determining factor.
