And at least half managed to do the Meet! I had a new 1966 BMC Mini so I know the - lack of Quality! Don't drive during rain or during - winter. And who found out that the battery + to the frame was such a brilliant idea? I also had to manually "bend in" the doorframes (with my knee in between) to actually reach the rubber seal on the body! The "heater" in the car 😁, had two positions, "On" and "Off". And the paint peeled off round the outside hinges, from a Faulty Production Method! The wipers stopped at - any place when cut (But the two simple "Lucas Contacts" actually functioned fine!). First Gear wasn't synchronized! The seats only adjusted the "seat-angle" when moved forward and backwards! The only "Distance adjustment" was the three attachment bolt-holes in the bottom! I had a small 12" leather Moto-Lita steering wheel and a bracket for lowering the steering column. My wheel then covered the Green blinker control light, but it wasn't the cars fault! I moved the Control light up on my - extra, instrument panel and cover, to be able to then see which way I intended to turn! Water came in at several places, also from the corners of the "Front screen", and the sliding Windows in the doors! So like an "open boat", it had to be emptied from water at intervals! It became my first, my last and my - only British Car 🙄!!!

I was close to buying a near new Lotus Europa in the early seventies. A Danish Director had bought one for his wife, but she didn't liked it, as it ruined her stockings during entrances. So he wanted to sell the car! I would have kept the car of course, and divorced the wife!!!

@@finncarlbomholtsrensen1188 Ha! Me too! My yellow '71 Europa had a sad end. A TV company turned it into a hovercraft!
