Kept seeing the golden stag and atlas moth. Welp, now I know I have incredible luck (and that golden stags are super sensitive to any movement, and have a time limit of catchability before they fly away)!

All you have to do is walk around your island during their available time till you hear a cricket noise but don't see one, dig around in the area of the noise and when you hit the right spot he will pop out and run around, then whip out a net and catch him! Best of luck! ^~^
