Happy you cleared up Ret. On Xars stream I got flamed for saying ret isn't S tier. People think its S tier Simply because of WoG and wrath. At high Elo our heals just get countered. It sucks because I know we're getting nerfed. Thats why I'm Lvling an Enh. No one is crying about Enh heals and I like playing hybrids. Think your list is spot on, well done.

I agree with this 90% In terms of general non ranked bg that majority of players play some of these classes are more than S tier. Pally needs a nerf bad. It takes a group to kill 1 and nobody should be able to opt into “final boss class”. I have a pally with ilvl 153 and I have an easier time in bg then I do on my warrior and dk who are both over 170ilvl. But all in all good list dude, your content is good and i appreciate how well thought out it is

Your take on ret pala is spot on. We really need this healing to even stay relevant with how high the dmg is. What I would say is OP with ret is our off healing, wog should probably be nerfed by 50% on allies as ret and prot. Before the AWC I didnt know the prot leg worked with ret, and I've recently picked it up which gives you a small cheat death every 45 sec. I do think this with rets self heal is too strong and the leg deffo needs a nerf seeing how many kill attempts it stopped in AWC. I hate people just spamming for people to nerf ret into the ground since I have spend several months now gearing up my char, and honestly if I have to redo the venari rep grind I dont know if I can stomach it. Honestly people who just say "nerf wog!!1" haven't felt how it is to play ret at all. Versus so many classes you just go 100>0 so hard and your only real option is bubble on a 5 min cd. I hope they just end up reworking ret to be less burst, less healing, more sturdy and with greater sustained dmg.

Outlaw is definitely slept on. Great CC and mobility to handle a lot of the meta classes (disarm talent for Arms/Sub, grappling hook on a short CD for mages/monks running away, hell sometimes even Death from Above to deal with WW fists can be super clutch) and their damage is pretty good, even if they don't have sub's burst. But just Gouge alone gives them so much utility. I can't even tell you how many times I've saved my healer just by popping two quick gouges while they were at 2% health, giving them just enough time to heal up/run away. Plus with the recuperate conduit (heal during slice and dice), you actually get decent survivability too. That makes them real nice in long matches because by the time dampening is really kicked in, they can easily lock down and kill someone. But they're also helpful in fast-paced dps comps thanks to the Tricks talent. They're certainly not top tier, but they have tools for sure.

Outside of quad storm keeper crits ele damage is tele telegraphed. If they cast prim wave + echo and sky fury they are going to do their burst, they need 3 globals to set it up so definitely not just random imo.

I'm only 1802 on my resto shaman but I'm glad you put resto sham where it is , because you can very easily get swapped to and killed in seconds when you don't have any cd's. The biggest difference and reason why hpal is better than rsham is how a paladin can become immune to everything for a little bit. As a shaman something can always potentially shut you down . Sure shaman heals are big af and if you manage your cd's you are hard to kill. From my experiences hpal definitely gives you a better chance to win.

Id personally put dh equal to unholy dk. The hunt is strong and when you press it you become S tier for 3 seconds. The thing is. There are no real competitive dh's on ladder unless they outgear everyone by 15-20 ilevels (that's 35% hp pool) and at least 20% damage difference id guess advantage. Just my opinion though.

i have my arena targets on mouswheel (scroll up is target 1 / klick is 2 / scroll down for 3). spell target macros are also useful (like hoj target 3 or focus) there are plenty of videos on the skillcapped channel for keybinding, just check it out

Druids normally get stronger at mid To end of expansion unfortunately due To the gear Reliance aspect of things. Same principle applies To fire mages which are usually about as strong as a tank in dps numbers until gear scaling comes in.

The reason why I doubt Blizzard will nerf Convoke is it's way too easy to counter: interrupt, stun, or incapacitate. They could reduce it drastically down to 6 spells but not make it channeled and make it a buff lasting 4 seconds while you're able to cast other spells. That would be interesting.

Genuinely curious how you can rank enhance and ret the same, as well as directly compare their defensives and healing abilities as being very similar when one is a lot weaker/a lot less good than the other, and even go as far to say theyre BOTH very squishy....like enhance absolutely is due to a disgustingly lack of defensives and passive dmg mitigation, but ret? Ret is FAR tankier than enhance, I would absolutely LOVE for my enhance to even have what the allegedly "squishy" Rets have in terms of defensives and healing. Then you say how both suffer from mana issues and going oom when using their heals but...did you forget WoG costs ZERO mana whilst ALWAYS being instacast and heals for more than shamans MSW enhanced healing surge, and they can heal indefinitely with WoG meanwhile my enhance goes oom in 2 heals and a purge? Enhance also has the WORST wall in the game which is only 40% dmg reduc for 12 secs on a 1.5m CD that cannot be used in stuns for some reason, and against casters we have 30 sec grounding totem(which is a pvp talent, not base utility no less) ...thats essentially the ENTIRE extent of our defensive toolkit to mitigate/stop incoming damage. Enhance is practically 100% forced to play double endurance soulbind so they can have the 25% hp from earth ele conduit+increased healing surge healing conduit, and then battlemasters on top of that because it just lacks defensives/damage mitigation more severely than any other spec during a very bursty, high damage meta. Ret has an immunity(which are currently especially valuable in this meta), BoP, wall, SoV, sanc, higher armor, and more for defensives utility, on top of having much superior healing...I mean trying to say the two specs are similarly squishy is comical because of how big of difference there is between the two. Ret is also no longer THE wheelchair class anymore, its flew under the radar somehow but im fairly certain enhance now has the WORST mobility of any melee now, and needs to sacrifice an important defensive TALENT just to have a gap closer of any kind(our 60% sprint on 1min CD is essentially useless because it only CLEARS snares, but they can be instantly reapplied and slowed again). Even if damage is fairly similar(I mean, I think rets burst is a bit better/stronger since it takes less GCDs/setup to fully get going and start pumping pressure out), Ret is just clearly vastly superior in every other aspect from defensives to healing to utility to CC.

Shaman has worst mobility ingame? Common bro. Rest was right, but that statement is not true. Ghostwolf is a insanely good tool to kite. It may be not that one-click-gapcloser, but you can kite any melee with it, if you wish to. In the cases where you need it, you can specc into spectral recovery, and in some rare cases even into spiritwolf. A shaman that does not want to be catched, cannot be catched. And if the meta wasn't that fast paced, we could also skill into feral lunge.

@@HitHeilerDerHohnEinerSure I mean if you think enhance can kite other melee because of ghost wolf and think ghost wolf is an "insanely good tool" then I cant imagine you actually have any exp PvPing on one, because it 100% is not a possibility against anything but like a DK (provided they dont have wraith walk/grip/abom limb up of course...AND dont have AMS up to immune your slows, which means a VERY small amount of time you can kite them). Ghost wolf simply means you wont be able to be slowed below 100%(regular base run speed), which in actual practice against other melee doesnt mean jack shit 90% of the time and by going in ghost wolf youre also stopping 100% of your own counter pressure which is BAD to begin with. For ghost wolf to be anything beyond a meaningless ability while the other melee is spamming their slow on you, you have to be applying YOUR slow as well, which mostly means frost shocking(without missing a GCD) literally nearly every 6 seconds because its duration is only 6 seconds and the CD is a little under 6 seconds w/ haste, and to do this you HAVE to break ghost wolf, spend the GCD on frost shock, then spend another GCD on ghost wolf and in this time you are actually ALLOWING them to catch up to you(if you even gained much of any separation yet at all) because you just lost ghost wolf's ability to prevent you from being slowed below 100% for 2 GCDs of time at minimum. After you do this, your frost shock will likely have about...4 seconds left on its duration, which means VERY soon you have to break ghost wolf to slow them yet AGAIN. I mean, do you not comprehend how incredibly ineffective and how incredibly useless that is against any melee with both a gap closer(or multiple of them) and a sprint like WW/Rogue/Warr or just extremely mobile melee like DH/feral? Its quite literally an exercise in absolute futility, you will NOT be able to kite them and its absolutely comical that you seem to think thats actually a possibility. I mean the mere fact youre suggesting that things like spectral recovery/spirit wolf are EVER viable options for enhance just shows you honestly dont know what youre talking about and dont have any actual experience playing one in arena, let alone at any decently high rating. And the idea that "a shaman that doesnt want to be caught, wont be caught" might be the single most comical, and objectively completely false thing you said. Go try and keep any half decent WW/rogue/Warr/DH/or Feral off you as enhance, and go try to not be kited by any half decent Mage/balance or resto druid/hunter/even aff locks and then get back to me and have the audacity to claim that ghost wolf is "insanely good" and that enhance's mobility isnt absolutely abysmal.

@@Handcannon77 dude, at first you seriously need to calm down asap, it's not even funny. First things first: i am currently on 2,1k cr with my enhance. I got 2,3k xp with it. My opinion is not only based on what i like to chose, but also on what i experienced in the time when i played against them, and also what i see other shamans (like Swapxy, Zeepeye, Jaime, Proccit, Vioception, Smexxin, Avines etc.) take. Swapxy for example has spectral recovery picked in like 70% of the games, and spiritwolf stil when he needs to, in like 30-40% of them. Also the thing is, you are not kiting with those skills as you mentioned it. You stay in ghostwolf. A reason for that is, that your spiritwolf-stacks would fall of. You can kite around pillars with a slowtotem for example, which you didn't mention once. Also how you think of ghostwolf, is just false. It's not like you need to be constantly faster than anyone. Ofc warriors have charge, ofc rogues have shadowstep etc. It doesn't matter. You just stay in ghostwolf and keep walking, because after 2-3sec they will be out of range again, and they lose theire pressure, because you keep beeing slightly faster than them. After some time, anyone is fed up with chasing you, because they can't keep theire momentum on you. (+ you're having a +20% deff on you in spiritwolf). Other things are, that in spectral recovery you can't be slowed below 110%, and aside from feral or windwalker, you can pretty much kite anyone infinitely (especially dk's lol). Of course you lose your own counterpressure, but this meta is not about “not falling behind in dmg“ but about oneshots during cc's etc. So you can be behind in dmg all game long, as long as you take the chance to kill when you get it. At least in tankwolf you can barely die. Things you also didn't mention where, that in most cases, you will have a partner that can slow for you (like in turbo, kittycleave, beastcleave, with ww, and even in LSD2 with slowlegy from affli etc.) + slowing rshami mate or freedom giving hpally. I don't think you ever really benifited as much from your ghostwolf as you could, because some players like Swapxy (3x blizzcon champion) stay in ghostwolf for like 10-15sec constantly, until theire enemys are out of gapclosers, and fedbup with chasing him. Playing like that make your ghostwolf to an extra (invisible) deff, that is really annoying. Btw, as ele you play like that even more, because you allmost never play with earthshield anyways.

Thank for making this tierlist video and discussing every class. I really like that and appreciate it. I always hate when people make tierlists and do "in between tiers" or A- tiers. You literally made a B and C tier, just called one `Between A&B` and `B`. Outside of `Unranked/???` and `S` tier, the tiers letters have no meaning whatsoever other than above and bellow each other. It's tempting to correlate these to school letter grades but S tier should tell you the analogy is wrong. At least in my opinion.

I might be very biased here but I think they should revert the Aimed Shot and Arcane Shot dmg nerfs for PvP. I know it was for PvE and it really wasnt necessary for pvp, Double Tap was the issue in the start and thats fixed now.

Wouldn’t say balance Druid Damage is instant. If convoke is kicked starsurges have to be built up using wrath and starfire.

I think you are wrong on balancing druids with convoke. 1800 - 2100 you see 3's Mage+Balance x2 cheeses Prot cheeses and triple rogue cheese its really not fair.

So people who say prot pally too op healing.... It's not really only healing. They have sooo much utilities to save the partners.... . They parry both spells and melees. Until prot get nerf. Few tricks to kill them are, Main thing, count them as a healer. Don't let them run around. Cc them or kill them depends on team. Disarming does work up to extend. Always attack from behind. U seen rogues attack while dancing around. That's the way. Prot only reflect attack from front.

I've been trying holy priest and it fits into a couple niche comps better than disc. It has higher burst damage (or maybe just "easier" burst) and a ranged stun. I think it's one minor tuning pass away from being competitive. It's already better than MW, anyway.

Hunter 1vs 1 is trash against a geared experienced player of any other class more likely then not you will get trashed there may be a few exceptions but in most cases without support survivability is lol.

As an Ele sham I play with spriest in 2s, The game is in a really good place right now since melee cleave and magic cleave are both so strong its not necessary to run with a healer

I play arms, but I'm struggling so much. Hit 1500 in the first week, then went down to 1250, and now I've climbed back to 1400 but have plateaued. I know arms got a vast tool kit but I dont think I'm using the right abilities at the right times

@@EllionGrey Like Stoopzz said, if blizzard nerfs word of glory (which they probably will or we can at least not be surprise if they do) rets are going to go down due to being super squishy (plate btw). How strong word of glory is now is mostly how rets survive out of BOPs and Divine Shield. Once that's taken, they will just be wheelchairs like they've always been and RP walk to their opponents. I main ret so I relate to this and once this happen it's going to suck :(

The simple truth with ret is people just don't like when rets are a good pick and are performing. What sucks is I know ret is going to get nerfed. People dont realize we have these heals therefore we are squishy. Played ret since wotlk and whenever we have good performance we get nerfed. Call for buffs people not nerfs. What would be more fun, having someone elses class nerfed or getting your favorite class buffed?

as a frost mage, i see it casting very slow. Thats why fire is more used, and of course they delete you with 3 keys like paladins
