I’ve read the books over and over and was introduced to this series in 1976. While serving in the US Army and newly stationed in Okinawa, I was in the barracks on a rainy Saturday. I went to the day room where I found “All Creatures Great and Small” on a book case. I grew up in a country setting and spent a lot of time with my cousins on their farm. Also my friend’s family had a horse farm. So I fell in love with the series and my children grew up hearing the stories.
