The Cuphead Unused Content has made for some of my favorite videos that I have made on my channel. And with the latest Cuphead Delicious Last Course DLC update, although we still may get more stuff added to the game, I don't think any additional unused content will be added in. The triple-laser is the new "lightning" weapon from the DLC Edit: turns out there are a lot of unused stuff that made it to the DLC

The placeholder text appeared in my game once. It happened when I loaded my file while by the fight against the frogs and pressed A and X at the same time while the game was still loading (on switch btw). If it can be replicated, I’d like to know. Also, the ending of the cut airship level’s music was reused for the DLC’s reveal trailer.

13:11 can be unlocked if you don't fire at the onion. 14:42 Many people believe that this design was reused in the Moonshine Mob in the DLC. 15:07 I believe you can fight Pachi Pachi if you have to start over with King Dice and you land in a previously fought space (only if debug menu used). Since all the stuff abt the debug manu not working, I don't know if this is still possible. 17:04 This again, was made as the Moonshine Mob second fase in the DLC. 28:34 This concept was actually used with Cala María. (Y'know, the fact that fish transform it into the next fase)

9:11 This can actually be activated normally with Miss Chalice (and possibly with Cuphead and Mugman) if you stand on the two babies which will then lead to the chandelier falling. The secret phase will actually work correctly too! The radish can be fought normally too, if you don’t shoot the Onion it will play a unique animation, and the Radish will appear along with the Carrot.

you can get to the cupids as normal cuphead/mugman by parrying off the flying hearts sally shoots

I feel like the other title screen song should be used in a way where the player can interact in game with an NPC who'll give them an option to choose songs after doing a side task for them. Once chosen that song will always play when you open the game unless you change it back

In the DLC, old bosses were added and/or reworked to fit the game and be possible. Jelly the Octopus was later reworked into The Knight.

In the DLC, the giant spider, is one of the moonshine mob fight and i think that’s cool. the unused “green lad” has the same spinning mechanic for the second phase of moonshine mob

Did you know the crudly drawn green lizard was actually the first character in cuphead before it got turned into a run 'n gun game. there is also Even a boss that got deleted at the same time that would basically be huge, and then throw their hands on you, almost like the gigavolt boss fight in kirby: planet robobot.

First of, the green thing is actually the original design for Cuphead himself believe it or not. Second, I think that the mechanics of the boss that would throw its hands at the player could have been reworked into the skeleton conductor from the Phantom Express boss fight.

The husband death in Sally stageplay is actually in the game. If you stand on both angels in the first phase until they lower all the way, the death of the husband will actually happen.

The explosive weapon That would shoot a projectile that could damage the player that shot it feels like a predecessor To the weapon that eventually got added that would shoot a bullet that broke off into many fragments So I'm not sure if that actually is the case or what but it definitely feels like they reworked it and implemented into the game as that weapon

You can still find radish on regular. If you don’t attack the onion, it will spawn the radish, making the carrot fight a bit harder.

I think the boss 'timer' showed how many hits till the boss either dies or goes to the next phase. It could of been that you could of known your progress for the boss before dieing but was removed.

Agreed with everyone here. A lot of the content shelved and not in the original release made it into the DLC. The new guns and the whole parry only boss idea being two of the most notable. Also the lady insect gramophone thing with the beams that rotate around the screen too was prototyped (called The Light) but never used till DLC. I think the octopus because the horse in the King's Gambit DLC. Also the giant Spider made it into the DLC. There is probably more too. Also the secret phase of the root pack and sally stage play do exist in the game. No idea if they were added in later or were there from v1.0. So I have no idea why that content is even mentioned here as it is in the final game and is accessible.

I think the unused king card boss’s puzzle game mechanics could be a reference to columns, a Sega genesis puzzle game. The reason i think this is because of the rule where the icons have to be either vertical or diagonal to count as a match. What do you think?
