Breath control by Kanye in this performance is just spot on. He sounds great and there is no backing track. Most artists would just be wheezing on the mic.

Alam Khan the fact he can rap as hyped as that without a backing track is def impressive. Kendricks another who can do it. Guys like Travis Scott and Migos who make great hype music like this always have backing tracks which puts me off going to their shows

It was incredible at the time. Saw it on tv here in England with my mouth wide open. No one is picking up in the comments that Kanye got Skepta and loads of Uk artists on stage with him because they were being snubbed by the Brits/UK mainstream awards shows. This was the most baller shit he did and changed the course of UK rap into the mainstream. Honestly so fucking baller.
@b8IIin3 жыл бұрын
@@CharlieCoops straight up, this was one big statement. By putting a whole group of grime heavyweights up on the Brit awards was like them saying "we're gonna be here wether you like it or not you can't ignore us". This has to be up there with some of the hardest shit Kanye's done

We all expected him to perform Only One because that was all what he was performing at the time. One of my favourite performances ever. The people with Kanye on that stage, MY people, are usually denied access to stages like that. He's visually representing unheard voices. Black, in all black. I mean Power, Champion, All The Lights, Gorgeous, Runaway, just to name a fee is litered with samples meshed in together so tightly that they take double takes to hear them once you point them out. Not to mention this beat was based all on Sir Paul McCartney's whistling.
