Thats one thing I liked about Kirby. People say the games are too easy but honestly the games are designed to be as difficult as you want them to be. Wanna fight the True Arena, that's your call. Wanna plow through the game with your favorite power, that's your call. Wanna play the game using NO powers and only inhaling and spitting, that's your call and totally doable. It lets you play how you want to play it while not having to compromise. That's really good fucking game design right there.

I beat this yesterday because I haven't touched triple deluxe after I beat the story, dedede mode and not beating the true arena. It took me over 30 attempts! A long time ago I beat soul of sectonia and I thought I won it but I didn't think there was a secret form only in the The True Arena so when I saw it, it was over so I took another attempt after 2 months. When I beat the final form of Soul of Sectonia Kirby had a SLIVER of Health but with one last strike of Hammer. I was excited I won. Man, the True Arena is so different from the original Arena because when I beat Arena, it was in one attempt.

DNN Webber it gets much harder at around Shadow Dedede, Queen Sectonia Dx is easy when you learn her pattern of Attacks. Shadow Dedede his kinda hard but if he was like the Masked Dedede fight with two phases he would be extremely hard. Dark Meta Knight has a lot of attacks which makes him very annoying along with his guarding your attacks.

Kmml1972 yes it was REALLY hard at first, but now, I can do it without much of a problem except for screwing up at the last minute on the final boss (not the secret one). I've pretty much memorized all of the bosses' attacks and when they do them. Now all I gotta do is get through the entire thing without losing my ability..... Btw, what's ur best time? I like how hard the True Arena is in this game (and how the game has increased difficulty.) One of the main problems with a lot of bosses in the kirby series is they have super predictable attack patterns, too many of their moves are laggy, or they only use one attack at a time. This game is a good exception. The AI for these bosses in the True Arena are aggressive, somewhat unpredictable, and mix up many attacks into others that can cover the screen (like Coily Rattler DX or Pyribbit DX.) With the epic music this game has and with a close tie with the outstanding designs in the levels and bosses (IMO it beat Kirby's Return to Dreamland a little.) This game is a candidate for the best game in the series.

Yeah it's looks like that will be the case. I think no power runs can make certain bosses harder than others and easier. I think that spitting out stars still has advantage of doing a lot of damage.

Pyribbit is such a pain in True Arena, mostly because he's so evasive and jumpy, and not so much that he's difficult. If you are doing a no ability run, the fight becomes looooooooong

chknrsandTBBTROX73 well this, normal arena, dedede tour (all game again with Dedede divided into 6 levels, bosses are DX and final boss is dark meta knight), dedede drum thing, kirby arena (smash-looking thing), story mode, audio test (you unlock this with true arena, 135 ish tracks), copy ability room (in story mode, has all copy abilities and a dummy waddle dee you can try the abilities on).

sam guzman no. You go to the room and there is every "copy ability" you can get in game and a room to test them. Copy Abilities is what they are called because you..copy..the enemies...abilities...

I think it's actually making reference to Marx/Drawcia. You'd already fought Bosses from The Amazing Mirror (Well, Meta Knight at least. Dedede didn't seem to have an equivalent in that game) So why not reference other Kirby games as well? At least Sectonia doesn't share Marx's nightmare inducing death animation.

Kirby Queen I guess the Dreamstalk really took Kirby and Dedede REALLY high up. If Meta Knight did notice the Dreamstalk and the fact that Kirby and Dedede were missing, he may have been unable to figure out what happened AND make it high enough to help in a helpful time frame.

Hammer is okay, but Stone is a good mix of offense and defense, which can help in some (Soul of Sectonia) bosses. Really. The boss listed above, I did it with NO damage, none at all, with Stone/Rock/Whatever

Yeah I've actually died a few times in the main game, I was surprised. I think I'm playing clumsy as hell since I'm unfamiliar with the feel and moves of some of these new powers like Circus and Bell. It's not masochistically hard but the later levels do keep you on your toes. I don't know how I'll handle the True Arena mode now lol. I better sharpen up. I was such a pro in Kirby Super Star Ultra True Arena. Beat it with several different powers without drop. Now I feel rusty and I may get my butt kicked.

Me too ;_; It was so awesome to see his sudden return in the True Arena run in Return to Dreamland. Still I WOULD not have suspected that Dark Metaknight would return AT ALL. However it may have to do with the story line in this game. It's hinted that Queen Sectonia has a sudden change in demeanor, than we see The Amazing Mirror, and Dark Dedede and Dark Metaknight. Maybe the Sectonia we are fighting is hinted as being a dark/evil form of her?

I'm recently challenging this mode too. I managed to fight to meta knight boss but run out of health and die. And then there's a 2nd version of queen final form too, despite King Dedede's playthrough already adding tons of stronger bosses. The 4 fighter mode is hard as fxxk with very hard difficulty selected too. (The comp can spam some move that normally players can't spam that much) And yet IGN says this game is too easy, WTF? That reviewer is a total troll and deserved to be fired.

So I just watched the segment of Dark Meta Knight and you held on pretty well but the problem for my DMK fight is that he didn't flail his sword around at the start but he goes for a piercing blade attack where he passes right through him. You can then counter by spin hammering away but I can't get far enough away and since the attack I did leaves a hole for him to strike I get damaged, big time. Help!

True arena in this game is SO frustrating unless you use the Archer cheese strat. I seriously hate that the bosses spend ages in the background in Triple Deluxe.

phase 2 of soul of sectonia kinda reminds me of final boss in kirby canvas curse,super star ultra,and return to dreamland (which mean is cool =D)
