Interesting analogy only using 4s setup. I thought the new trend because of technology and light batteries you would be using a 6s setup in your new model can you please give your reasons for going 4s Fantastic video as always I’m really liking the Jeti radio your using only thing is it goes along way towards another F5J model. 😂 Must say the Jeti transmitter lanuauge on what they call things is very much like Graupner so if I was to change I think I could get my head around using this transmitter. Keep these great videos coming specially the instruction videos they are very informative certainly your flying styles over in Europe compared to ours here in the west. Well Done. 👍

Thank you so very much Julian for your work! I have subscribed and big thumbs up for all of your videos. Your skills are incredible and I enjoy watching immensely. In my situation here in the USA, South Louisiana, folks here are not interested in gliders. They prefer large gas planes and jets. Therefore for those of us wanting to fly gliders, it is for fun only. Maybe you can help me decide on which plane to buy. I really like the power and penetration, and acrobatics of your Pike Precision 2. However I hear the Nan Explorer is better made. In your videos, it looks like the Explorer 5, is almost as aerobatic and when it can fly away with a hand toss.... proves its soaring capability. So for steep dives, fast fly-bys, and many other aerobatic fun, & Very good soaring ability, which do you recommend considering what I have said here?

Very informative video, thank you Julian! I actually commented on your previous video regarding the Q&A, but my comment seems to have disappeared. Anyway, what I would like to additionally know is the difference(s) between the Explorer Q4 and the Explorer 5 (if any) as NAN's website doesn't even mention the Explorer 5.

The Explorer 5 is made for windy conditions because it has a very good penetration against the wind. The Explorer Q4 has it‘s strength in lighter conditions and floating, but can be flown in windy conditions as well. But it needs some more ballast in windy conditions

Nan only shows one layup. Did you get a special order or is this standard GPS layup? Also, are you flying with 900mah Lipo?

is there no problem with the carbon fuselage dimming the RF signals, this is known to be a problem with some RC applications,
