Spinosaurus still keeps the top spot for me amongst dinosaurs, I just love how it gets "stranger" with each iteration, yet it keeps its core identity. Feels amongst the most unique type of dinosaurs, as if just in between going fully aquatic, but never sadly got there. Sort of how Polar Bears are now, slowly taking those "steps" towards becoming aquatic

The game doesn't care about your preferences. It's scientifically accurate, and that's it. It doesn't matter it looked on place or out of place: it is the closest thing we can imagine it was. No opinion is going to change that
@WMVKMBN5 ай бұрын
@@xoaquimyeray actually we have no clue if trex had lips or not. It’s only a believable theory. Nothing more. Paleontologist are still arguing about it. Same thing for the feathered rex. We think he didn’t had them but there’s still a possibility that they had feathers. The only Tyrannosaurid we know that had no feathers is Daspletosaurus and we only found scales impressions of it’s hip.
@xoaquimyeray5 ай бұрын
@@WMVKMBN By that regard we can add to it crocodile scales, dragon wings and a laser. We don't know that he didn't had them, we only know what we have discovered. Plus, saying that contradicts itself as you say “we don't know if it had lips” I can answer “We don't know if it hadn't them” We know smaller T. Rex's theropod relatives DID had them, such as dromeosaurids and an abelisaur (can't remember its name), so it's neither out of place or invented. And the final touch: Tyrannosaurus and many other carnivore and non-carnivore dinosaurs were studied upon what having exposed teeth would make to the dentine of the teeth, and the results are that an exposal to the environments they lived in was too harsh for the teeth to handle for extended periods of time, as the dust, constant cold and/or humidity would make them weaken and break, so the only thing that could prevented that is (you guessed it) lips. Plus, the gum of their mouth would dry, weaken and recess if exposed and make the teeth EVEN weaker, so it's almost anti-natural that dinosaurs had exposed teeth, and less they had exposed mouth gum. Besides that, the debate about T-rex's feathers is now kind of solved: a study about body temperature showed that T-rex had its tail and back legs' ends way colder than the rest of its body, and it couldn't had been that way if Tyrannosaurus didn't had any kind of cover. It is unlikely that it had complex or a full coat of feathers, but it's more likely that it did have a cover on the neck, superior body and the front of its back legs stopping on the start of the tail, formed of simple feathers or some other sort of filament. Plus, the alledged proof that Tyrannosaurus DIDN'T had feathers was given by two skin impressions that showed a pattern of more reptilian-like skin instead of the smoother one found on actual nowadays birds. HOWEVER, we DO have proof that smaller theropods DID had simpler feathers ALONGSIDE with that same skin pattern, so it's not a “It didn't had them shut up”. Another plus: both skin impressions were found on a T. Rex digging site, yes, and they were allegedly part of the neck and tail, said the founders. HOWEVER, they lacked the markings on where they did found them on the official map of the digging site, something pretty important to figurize where they belonged on T. Rex's body AND if they did really belonged to T. Rex (that was found because of the correlation with the same smaller skin impressions I said before) so the relation is more of a memory thing rather than an official study. Furthermore, the skik impressions were re-ubicated to the tail and lower torso, respectively. If you want to know a more detailed explanation, you could search the KZbin channel Palaeos, if you are fluent in spanish. Said channel is driven by a doctor on paleontology graduated from the university of Mexico City, and has a whole video covering this topic. Any question?
