All direct Berserk references in Elden Ring

Hidetaka Miyazaki has always been clear in his love for the late Kentaro Miura’s work. Ever since the release of Demon’s Souls its influence can be found all along the Souls series.In the video i've tried to find direct references to Berserk, maybe more exist, but we can't confirm.

The same applies to the mercenary, that armour already existed before Berserk, and given how many armours you can find in both Berserk and Elden Ring it makes sense that two would look similar. Roderika is a more direct reference to Farnese too.

As much as I would love From to make a berserk game, I wonder how they would handle the difficulty. It would rip me out of the immersion if I was playing as Guts and just getting my ass handed to me 80% of the time. A focused, linear, maybe even level based game like doom would be awesome.

There is another reference I found in Nokron. After climbing down the asteroid that fell from the death of Radahn, there are a bunch of pale Gollum looking creatures to fight. They look somewhat similar to Griffith when he was imprisoned and crippled. These creatures drop items that say they once belonged to the band of the hawk, a successful group that met an unfortunate fate.

to say some of these are a Berserk reference is a bit of a stretch, like its probably more that Hidetaka Miyazaki and Kentaro Miura are using the same inspiration. bloodhound knight set is most likely based on the real medieval armour, especially that pointed face helmet. The prisoner iron mask is probably a reference to The Man in the Iron Mask, who was a real person and prisoner in france during the late 1600's who was heavily fantasied about by historians, playwriters and authors. The Erdtree and the world spiral tree are probably both heavily taking from the world tree yggdrasil of norse mythology.

The animation is one of the many poses the player can do in the game, they just chose the most eclipse looking place in the game to emphasize the similarities. Personally, I don't think it's a reference for once. Blaid/Guts is though.

I don't really get why there are still people out there that claim that there still aren't berserk references despite the fact that we've been doing this same exact song and dance for the past 10 years over the course of 7 separate games. Fromsoft is already known to base their games off of real world and fictional insiprations (i.e. Anor Londo being a 1:1 replica of the Il Duomo Cathedral in Milan, Italy). At this point it's not really a coincidence anymore considering every single game has at least a handful of very obviously intended ones.

[Spoiler tome 11] After Wyald was defeated by Zodd, hundreds of soul escaped of his monstrous body and then was sucked in hell. After that, just remains an old man's rickety body, exactly like Morghott after he has been defeated!
