Ali is definitely not in love with Emily. She's just using her. And Emily's picking up on it and that's why she's rejecting her. That's why she went back to Paige. She realized she was right all along and Alison really was just using her.

Maybe as a friend, but not romantically. Alison only loves power and control. Having people love her gives her power over them and she can use that to control them. That's why she preferred Emily; because she knew if anything happened she'd always have her crush to fall back on. If she lost her as a friend she could play the romance card and get to her that way and keep her standing in the group that way. She's seeing the group she created slip from her hands. They've accepted Spencer as the new leader, she's lost Hannah and she never really had Spencer. Aria is too busy with her own shit but Emily's created an opening by dumping Paige. If she replaces her, she can hold some sway/influence over her. That's what she's been trying to do in season five. Trying to get Emily to fall in love with her so she can take on the role of her protector. It's kinda like game of thrones. How they make political marriages and stuff for their family's benefit. Marry so and so and they'll let your soldiers through and you can win the way easier. Like that.

And then season seven happens and destroys what's left of it. Emison is forced together with babies. Paige is forced to leave. Spoby ruined. Haleb ruined. Ezria still around when it should've stopped by the end of s4. Horrible cliche plot twist ending and lame 'full circle'.

I feel like Emily should’ve gotten together with _Paige_ at the end of the show. Yeah she almost drowned Emily, but Ali _constantly_ bullied and manipulated Emily and the others just to keep on top of the Rosewood Day social pyramid. And Ali and Emily don’t even stay together anyway, so all the tears and kisses and schmaltz between them was for nothing. Paige and Emily’s interactions actually felt like that of a real life couple, _not_ a romance movie couple.

Natalie :) Yes true. I remember Hanna asking Spencer during the final scene if there was something going on between Emily & Alison because they held each others hands. Spencer just dismissed her though as Hanna was drinking quite a lot. Hope it comes out eventually though :)

How is it that on Paily videos there's always Emison stans tagging Emison and being assholes in general but I go on this Emison video and it's not full of that shit? They say their videos are full of Paily shippers but I haven't seen a single obnoxious shipper or spammer here at all. No one being a jerk. No assholes. Everyone's mostly just discussing. There's like one person throwing tags and talking endgames but that's it.

These scenes are exactly why I will never trust Alison. First she plays up the victim to get the girls on her side. Then when Paige and Emily's separation starts to seem like it wont be permanent she pulls out the big guns. The 'those kisses weren't for practice' guns. Then when Emily continues to get closer to Paige she really goes for it. If she had any shred of decency and she had actual feels and cared for Emily at all she wouldn't be doing this when she knows she's starting to fix things with Paige. She'd wait and give her some time to see if she would get back together with Paige or leave her for good. Emily and Paige just broke up a few days ago. But she doesn't. Which means she doesn't care about Emily. She just cares about her own wants/needs and what she needs right now is dependant on getting Emily to trust her so she puts on this act that she's in love with her. It's disgusting that she can do that to her. The show confirmed it later in the season when Emily asks her to stay and she has that cocky "I knew I could trick her!" smirk on her face. I will never ship Emison as long as I'm alive.
