If Grian was allowed to stay green due to pressing the button, he probably would have had more health as a red and would have succeeded in that 3v1.

Reds were ruthless in ep 8, I'm pretty sure he would be dropped down to red regardless. Also it wasn't if he stayed green, but rather if he didn't get dropped down to 13 hearts by bdub's trap. Still, would've liked to see him 1v3 that

I know it's all fun and games, but god were the cherry crew such tryhards with giving Gem basically 30 hearts. She would have been killed by Grian if it weren't for those extra hearts.

I’ve seen some debate about if getting rewards for killing was a good thing or not. Ultimately I think it made for some good entertainment! And Gem did really well.
